William Jefferson. You know him right? The guy caught with 90K in his freezer. The guy the FBI has on video taking bribe money from an undercover agent. In total up to 500K worth?

He has now been indicted.

Where is your outrage Dems? When Gonzales was put in testimony to answer to the firings of U.S. Attorneys, you Dems immediately called for his resignation before we really knew anything about what may have happened.
When Libby was "fingered" in the outing of Plame. Before there was any trial. Before there had been any testimony. You guy's wanted him hung up by his toenails. Fired and jailed.
So where is the strong language in regards to Jefferson? Where is your outrage? Where are the calls from prominent democrat leaders for his resignation?
Where? Where? Where?

I already know the answer. You guy's will never turn on your own no matter how badly they have conducted themselves. Bill Clinton is obvious proof of that.

I just want to hear you say it.

Stiggo?
There was plenty of outrage in regards to the Foley case. Most conservatives were very outspoken in their disgust. He immediately did the right thing and resigned, and we LET HIM. Why isn't Jefferson resigning? Why aren't you guy's calling for it. The evidence against him is very overwhelming.
Delay? That was a witch hunt. You know it, we know it. It was just the Dems trying to take down a very powerful and influential republican.

Map?

There was no crime committed by Scooter Libby until AFTER the congress made it a crime for what he was charged with.
Clinton ADMITTED doing what he did, yet still got off scott free. Libby maintained his innocence, and I still believe this to was a witch hunt.

Yes drixnot.

After all the clamoring and public outrage by the media and prominent Democratic leaders about Libby, Delay or Foley. You guy's are like, oh well, we'll see what happens. With a Republican, you guy's scream from the mountain tops about making them resign, castrating them, firing them or jailing them.

Jefferson has been formally charged with several crimes and the prosecution is proceeding. I was pissed off at him a year ago when his offices were raided. Am I supposed to be perpetually outraged?
As for Libby, he was convicted of the same things that the Republicans tried to throw Clinton out for; obstruction of justice and perjury. I don't hear any outrage from republicans over Skooter. What I am hearing from the right is calls for a presidential pardon! Where is your outrage?
RESPONSE - If you lie to a grand jury that in itself is a crime. It doesn't matter whether or not there is merit to what it being investigated.

Where was the outrage from the republicans when Delay, Foley, etc etc got indicted? Oh, that's right. There was outrage at those who indicted them, not at those who committed the crimes. Notice you don't see democrats rushing to Jefferson's defense, saying that he's the victim of a partisan witch hunt. We're not obligated to be outraged, but at least we're decent enough not to be hypocrites and support him.

NOTHING OUTRAGES THE DEMS WHEN IT COMES TO ONE OF THEIR OWN. THIS IS A COMMON BUSINESS PRACTICE FOR THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. BRIBE ARE THE ORDER OF THE DAY JUST LAST WEEK A DEMOCRAT FROM BROOKLYN WAS SENT TO PRISON FOR BRIBE TAKING. THEIR WAS VERY LITTLE NEWS OR PUBLIC OUT CRY. I GUESS THIS IS THE BEHAVIOR THAT THE DEMS TOLERATE.

Former state Assemblyman Clarence Norman Jr., convicted of grand larceny in a scheme to shake down a judicial candidate, was sentenced to two to six years in prison yesterday. Norman, a longtime head of the Brooklyn Democratic Party, was led out of the court in handcuffs following his sentencing in Brooklyn.
