Nobody likes jail but they have to stay. Double standards or what!!!

Perhaps they should put her in house arrest in a dodgy motel.

It is a monumental moment.

Have they set a precedant now?

If I go to prison and cry a bit and am not enjoying the food, will I get released early? More likely I will probably be at best ignored or at worst given a beating by the guards.

Whoever authorised this decision is a complete idiot. They are basically saying that rich or famous people are above us mere mortals.

It appears the Sheriff's Office defied the court ruling. She is back in court today and may be back in jail. If she isn't the person who let her out may be, charged with contempt of court.
Double standard alright. They have plenty of medical options to help ailing prisoners. Stress hardly qualifies or even refusing to eat. Iv's work just as well if she refuses to co-operate. What ever the reason when sentenced she was not to be allowed a change of location, pay for stay priviledges or any preferential treatment. But she got it.
I hope they throw the book at Sheriff Baca and put her princess derrierre back behind bars like everybody else who violates laws. Jail is a reminder of wrong doing and punishment not just another stay at a Hilton hotel. TY.

I agree with the people who say her sentence would be harsh for a first time offender - BUT it is her blatant disregard for the system that landed here in this problem......

- she claimed she didn't know her license was suspended because "her people" didn't tell - even though she signed the papers.
- she claimed she was told by "her people" that she could drive for work.....again no person accountability there.
- She failed to register for court ordered alcohol classes.......I am going assume that was a "her people" error again.
- She showed up late for court -- evidently "her people" really suck at taking care of her.

Not ONCE did she take a personal accountability for what she has done.......it's always been "I was barely over the limit", "my people didn't tell me", or some other lame excuse -- and I am sure THAT is what bought her the harsh sentence! Which she deserves to serve because she is STILL not taking any accountability!

Oh and let me add -- this whole "medical condition" was contrived between her and psychiatrist before she ever went in there. They had it planned from day one -- they kept her in long enough to get her to the 10% then he upped her meds beyond what the jail was willing to dispense - whammo bammo - medical release. (Of course this is just my theory -- but I thought I would add it!)

You can bet your last dollar that if Daddy were a fireman, a plumber, an electrician, accountant, salesman, actuary, or university professor, she would have served her whole sentence.

Because the Hilton family can buy doctors and lawyers, they can get their daughter out of jail. Money is their "get out of jail free" card in this game.

It ain't fair that a rich b i t c h doesn't have to live by the same legal standards as everybody else.

Well money talks and in this case it says "F**K you all, I'm a rich Witch so I will do what I like. I WILL have my original jail term cut by half by my army of lawyers, then I kick up a stink and pull a 'sicky' so I get sent home to my million $ house surrounded by Butlers / Maids - so I can dine off Dodo eggs with a priceless silver spoon. AND THERE IS NOTHING THE REST OF YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT AS YOU ARE A LOWLY RABBLE PART OF THE GREAT UNWASHED - WORSHIP ME. I will then go to a magazine and sell my story AS I REALLY HAVE NOT GOT ENOUGH MONEY."

Because she threw a tantrum in front of her shrink and how cold and horrible prison was so he had to get an excuse to get her out and came up with either a) a rash or b) a breakdown. And she might not get away with it because she's been ordered back to court because apparently part of her sentence said that she had to stay in jail no matter what, it said she cudn't have house arrest because obviously, her house is more luxurious that prison.

Servants, maids, cooks, own bedroom, fully stocked fridge, drugs delivered,booze,visitors...tough old life for the poor little lamb!I hope the other 45 day prisoners will suddenly develop an incurable illness (!) and be sent home, but i doubt it!

An undisclosed "health" issue.other people in jail dont get out for reasons like that.i think its ridiculous really.the judge is trying to get her back in last i heard.i think she should realise shes the same as anyone else and should serve her time like anyone else.it wasnt like she broke the law once.she repeatly tested the law.its people like her that cause accidents on the road cause they think theyre above the law and can do as they wish.if they dont put her back to jail she'll continue to think that and other celebs arent gonna take it as a serious warning that theyre the same as everyone else.i can just imagine after her "sentence" she'll come out and say how horrible it was.that will really anger me if i hear that cause shes got it easy compared to some people even as it is.i wish they copped themselves on that theyre the same as everyone else and should be treated the same way aswell

This world is F'd! She doesn't like to be punished for violating probation and drunk driving so she doesn't have to be cause she is rich and popular. They should put her in the most violent and STD ridden hell hole of a prison in America. She'll be begging to go back to that "spa-jail" in 5 seconds.
