Why are bosses allows to dare mess with workers relationships without theirs being attacked in retaliation

Ie if Im in love and coupled with somone at work and a boss dares to threaten to sack, disciplin or in any way bully or attack us.

Should we not have the right to strike at his family on a see how you like it babsis or somehow break up their realtioship and force a divorce?

As long as doing the job (ie if fixing cars we fix cars even if you get the odd kiss or hug along the way).

what does it matter if you are in love.

As for your at work to work.

Most of your life will be at work and often the only people you have stuff in common with, get to know, and hang out with so therfore most likely to form relationships with.

A lot harder to chat someone up at a club.

Especailly with long hours and little time or money to go out to meet people. friends of friends does not work. its just the same friends.

So if your love is taken away why not attack

you hurt me

I hurt you.

You destroy my couple I destory yours.

if the police get involved and pick the bosses side then why cant you attack them and their families...

Fairs fair, justice is justice etc etc.

And the wifes would be at faught for not teaching their husband (or other way around if boss female) about love and its importance.

As said Im saying you do your job.

Plus why dont they use the realtioship to motivate.

ie make/sell 10 cars over quate and the incentive is10 minutes couple time in the broom cupboard. (does not cost boss a peny but sure would work well)

You are mad

Why should you attack your manager/bosses family just because you aren't allowed to date fellow employees? That is just a completely mad way of thinking.

The reason companies frown on employee relationships is because lets say you were a lowly mechanic and you dated one of the managers or someone responsible for the payroll, you could coerce them into giving you a raise.

Your reasoning is just stupid. So is your spelling and grammar by the way

The reason they don't want you to be coupled with someone at work is because they don't want a person in authority dating someone else there. Like Walmart for instance, they don't want there top management dating associates because you could alter pay, change hours, etc. It is actually a precaution for the job AND the employees as well. But, I don't see a problem with an administrative assistant dating another. They are the same level. Yet, it is frowned upon because one could be promoted to a higher level and cause problems. But, why mess up someone else's marriage because they found something outside the workplace?

Something like: "Hey @sshat, who died and left you in charge? And if YOU are the team captain, then I'd rather eat a box of glass than play on your team. And by the way, that so-called fashion statement you've got going on? Not working for you, if you know what I mean. So take your raggedy self away from my work space before I b**ch slap you into the middle of next week." I don't know about you, but that made me feel much better!

There are two reasons for discouraging workplace romances. The first, as noted by others, is that they don't want people dating their superiors, as that can lead to messy situations. The second is that even if you're dating someone on the same level, if the relationship sours, that can lead to messy situations. So your boss is right and you're wrong. And taking revenge is always wrong. Grow up and move on.

No don't be silly, try that and you will rightly face criminal charges. There would be no going back from the sack. Do you want the job anyway.
Is he just jealous?
I would have a long hard look at myself into the bargain

I agree any boss that says you cant date the staff, is bonkers! staff will always date you cant stop it, its a breach of civil liberties. my staff are always shagging. they have to let me have a go first though thats my only rule.
