Let's face it! Our modern form of democratic government no longer relies upon the 'Free Press' to disseminate truthful information to 'We the People'. We should all know that it (the Powerful Federal Government) relies upon its ability to call any useful information, to 'We the People' 'SECRET', Confidential, or, For Official Use Only, as a way to keep that information from getting to us via the press. So, if you, as the citizen, had a way to make the federal government make their actions open to public (you and me) inspection, what would it entail?
If there was a 'Washington D.C. wall', (like the Berlin Wall) between you and the truth about what our (and you have to wonder if it is ours) government were really doing, how would you break through that wall?

I signed a contract - that being a month to month with a lady from out of town whom works with my eldest son in a corporation. Everything was fine until of this past month whereby she asked if her sister could be of a "guest" in the suite, so I said okay, until she gets her "head together" we'll take it day to day.... however, since her sister's arrival, her boyfriend is now staying here ... that makes it 3 ...
I don't however have it in my heart to kick anyone of them out, as accomodation is scarce where we live, yet, I don't want to be "used".... any advice? it would be greatly appreciated

The Tennessee House of Representatives passed a bill on Monday that states that no authority can prevent any school from using Native American Mascots. I am appalled. I goes to the Senate next Tuesday. Please let our government know how we feel about this. This represents a lack of respect for the Native people. The country would never be able to get away with this if they were using any other ethnic group

Hi,

I have taken a Tata AIG Maharaksha LIC policy, and canceled that polocy, so they need to return some % of money that I paid for that policy after cancelation of that policy within 7 working days they need to refund that amount. But those people are not returned that amount even if 2 months got completed, When I call them, they are telling we are taken your complaint so within 7 working days you will get that amount. This thing is happening form 2 months.

So I fedup with these people, so I am going to file a case on TATA AIG people.

So, can any one suggest me the procedure to get my money back as early as possible.

Texas killed 78 inmates last year, that is more than one a week. They refused to honor the Supreme Court suggestion on a moratorium on killing the mentally impaired. Most of the other states have either repealed or put a moratorium on the death penalty while they review all cases that hinged on DNA and a record number of people have been freed after being wrongfully convicted. Texas is not actively looking at reviewing cases where DNA or circumstantial evidence could free a inmate. Is this fair? I am not advocating freeing those who are guilty and believe that in most cases Life without the possibilityof parole is sufficient. BUT should we take the chance of killing innoncent people rather than admitting there maybe a mistake? The justice system is not set up to kill the innoncent, but instead protect them.

Wills have to undergo probate, and all beneficiaries come to find out what others as well as themselves are getting if anything. Is there a tool such as a trust that does not need to undergo probate and where nobody can find out the size of estate as well as who the beneficiaries are.

Are laws realted to wills, probate, etc different by state.

I am getting ready to close on a federal 502 loan, but I have restitution that I owe from 7 years ago. I have made my payments every month, so that shouldn't be an issue, but at closing, I guess they do a judgement search on me. The lenders know about it, but there's something about if they can have 1st lien on the property or not. Can anyone help me out on this?

I'm in a situation where I can let my campus- via the newspaper- know about some horrible things a fraternity on campus is doing, anonymously, but I could take some serious heat if they figure out it was me. I've already been threatened with rape to keep my mouth shut. My choices seem to be that I can keep other women from getting into bad situations, but put myself in danger, or I can keep my mouth shut and let whats going on continue. What would you do? What do you think I should do?

Hi all, when my mum passed her will stated that her estate is to be split equally between me and my brother. In addition she gave me sole ownership of her car. However there was an outstanding 34k loan to be paid at her time of death and that was settled by the estate when it was passed to me.

Now that I am selling the car, the executor of her estate is saying I should b returning the 34k from the car's sales proceeds. Is this true? Do i have to return this sum of money?

Thx for ur help guys! FYI I am in Singapore.
