My grandfather is in full time 24 hour residential care in an NHS care home at present, the NHS now say we have to pay for his care in another home and are telling us to sell his home to fund this, could anyone tell me where we stand legally and if there are alternatives to this. Thanks in advance for your advice

There is a local restaurant in my area and I have heard that the owner refuses to pay an hourly minimum wage to its employees and asks that they work for tips instead.

Please advise. Thanks.

I challenge anyone to prove that no innocent person has ever been executed in the US.

Homicides in Canada in 2005: 648 (no death penalty)
Homicides in US in 2005: 14,860 (33 states with death penalty)

US has ten times the population but 23 times the number of homicides.

Pit Bull dogs have been banned from different parts of the world. Isn't this racism? I have had the pleasure to know several of these animals with only good experiences. If dogs could talk and hire a Lawyer couldn't this turn out as racism? What if we handled humans in this way?

at the same time one needs to pass a test to drive, be 21 to drink, be 18 to vote, etc....the disregard for human life appalls me! yes it is a human life you discard when you have an abortion, just like murder, no matter what a Pro-Choice person will tell you....something you want to live with? Democrats want late trimester abortions legal, anyone know what they do the baby at that late stage, if you don't read up and you will be just as appalled as I am. If it was up to the Dems, abortions would be legal throughout the first year of the babies life...since it is only the woman's right to choose who lives or dies....
