In 2005, 94 per cent of all known executions took place in China, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the USA.

This is truly illustrious company.

I wish the USA would actually use the capital punishment that's in place!!!! why should it take 20 plus years to execute some one who was sentenced to be executed. Ooh, that's right, all the Liberals who want to house them. I would rather spend the 45 to 60 thousands of dollars a year, per prisoner, to house them, go someplace else. I say, " If the Liberals don't want Death row prisoners to executed, then LET JUST THE LIBERALS PAY FOR THEIR STAY IN PRISON." Besides a lot of countries still have Capital punishment , it just not opened to the public... I'm getting tired of my tax dollars wasted on these useless human beings, KILL them already... How many BAD examples does the world need on hand anyway?? One, is too many to keep around.

You cannot compare with the way we deal with capital punishment to those other countries. We are trying to be more just, but in some cases it is necessary.

if china has the most people in the world then a inference can be made that the the US is in the majority already and your hypothesis is flawed.

Yeah, and I'll wager to bet that you are pro-abortion, oops I mean "pro-choice".

Why do people advocate the choice to kill a baby and cry over a baby murders death sentence?

The death penalty in this country isn't going anywhere.

People got sick of criminals ruling the American streets, so we tried something different....it was believed the threat of the death penalty would stop crime.

And now the politicians are just too embarassed to admit that this idea failed miserably....

Probably never. Who the hell cares what the rest of the world is doing? If the rest of the world was so great then why the hell do we have so many people trying to get to America, as they have been for centuries.

We are a sovereign nation to ourself. We do not and will not determine our laws on how the rest of the world wants us to. We do not want finance a killer on the shoulders of the tax paying public. Funny how that argument is not used when you want to kill a fetus????????
