India is not as backwards as you imply. There are laws against child labor and for better working conditions. They have made new laws as recently as 1996 to make sure kids are not exploited as they were in the pasts. Boycotting Indian products will only lower the standard of living for the average citizen forcing them to ignore the law. If you want to pick on India, pick on their caste system.

Law is very strict now.
Don't think that you can walk free from punishment.

child labour basically arises from the hunger problem which is experienced by peasants and the related category...they need money to live so they send their children to work...so i would like to contribute by teaching them about population control...and educate them well

Your question is very good. A lot of children are working around me. I can take panga with their employers. I can not take panga with their parents. NGO, police all can do to abolish...

We should keep our child from being a slave! some parents specially in rural areas sell their child for a little amount of money..
Government should do the same thing.. but it should start from the smallest unit of our society "FAMILY"....
