Heck yes. I have to take random drug test. It is to make the workplace safer. I work construction and I don't want the guy next to me to be on anything that could affect his judgment and cause an accident resulting in an injury to me. I like the drug testing and wouldn't mind if they tested more often. So that being said, why not hold the people that are making decisions about wars and laws to the same standards. Who wants someone taking drugs and sitting around saying "You know what would be funny? If we invade Iraq He He now that would be funny." I don't want some idiot like that in office. Oh Wait we already have one. =~)

YES - it would be BRILLIANT!!! Did you hear about the Italian TV station that did this? They did a series of interviews with MPs and managed to take a sweat swab under the guise of doing their makeup. The swabs were analysed and a HUGE amount came back POSITIVE for drugs. Very funny....

Sure, why not? As long as they let the laws on this be so vague that you can't even get a job stocking shelves without the employer nosing in to what you do on your own time. This is supposed to be a FREE country. Toxicology should be limited to PROBABLE CAUSE only.

LOL yeah. Great idea. Although that wouldnt help the problem of overcrowding in prisons! Then again these scumbags always get away with it so it probably wouldnt make any difference.

That's a fantastic idea. Not just once either, anyone can pass a one time test, they need random tests about twice a month.

Nope, don't care about that.
What they should be tested for are number of functioning brain cells and ability to actually work for a living.

is this in light of david cameron's "terrible" past....because surely that shows how young children can break bad habits and grow up into sucessful people....but to answer your question unless it is going to seriously affect their judgement and ability to govern a country then no, let's just hope they all go by the practice what you preach theory.
