I, with constant support from friends and family, proudly served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Why must I, now, while still recovering from illnesses aggravated in Iraq, be forced to struggle with the Code Enforcement Department of Amarillo,Tx?
As I receive treatment here in San Antonio,Tx. (BAMC), it seems no amount of explanation about my status will keep the Amarillo Texas City Code Enforcement Department (Howard@1-806-378-3006 or 1-806-378-4237) from issuing code violations against my home/property...my car was recently impounded! My mother-in-law, while stressed, is still doing all she can to hold down the "fort" until I am released.
Again, I have informed the Amarillo Texas City Code Enforcement Depart. many times of my Wounded Warrior status. I was told "not to worry" and "thank you guys for all you do for the country"... only to continue to receive other Violations/Search and Seizure Warrants.
Does the Soldier/Sailor Civil Relief Act apply to those on Med Hold Status?
