Well there is legislation and there is legal precedent which makes a decision stick, and is very hard to change. We have federal laws, state laws I couldnt tell you how many exactly .. but if you go to www.austlii.com.au it may be able to tell you .. also have a look at our constitution .. it explains laws ..
