It's prison. You have to go along with what they decide. I suppose you could contact a state legislator and try to get a law against it, but you won't find much sympathy.

if you are looking for sympathy for felons then go and F&*^k yourself.
Felons have no right to a future or enojoyment of a family.
Any family of a felon would be well served to consider their criminal family member dead ..because essentially they are or soon will be.
Good on Florida for having the guts to stand up to bleeding heart families of inmates and the chardonney socialist welfare scum and their do-gooder crusaders thatsupport them.
Social workers and thier ilk scum bucket hangers on are a pox on this nation.
Do the time and you will make sure your family will do time too , just like your victims families..should have thought of that first HUH?
Suck it up Bubba your relative should rot in jail, he should get no priveladges or special treatment. ...it will give him the practice he needs when he goes to hell.!!!!

You are making this personal when it isn't. Prison administrators make these decisions based on certain criteria, and not certain cases. It may cause a hardship on one's family, but I can assure you it is in the best intrest of the facility when this happens.

Prisons make good $, more $ if the family has to travel on toll roads. The elect get the taxes, the poor pay. It is simple economics.
I do not know why a person that has marijuana is placed in a cell with a person that robs a store, there is $ in it though, someone is cashing in.

Maybe call thier victims and see if you can get them to drive you up there for visits.
After all its all their fault that your poor husband is in jail in the first place; right?

Prisoners should have thought of their families before they committed the crime that sent them to prison.

Oh My God? You really don't think you can fight the law. They will do what they want too, if you make waves, they can kill you and get away with it
