MOST inquests are open to the public
and verdicts are kept in the records office.

Unless the inquest has been ordered to be "in camera" which means for some specific reason the public are excluded for some security or legal reasons, anyone can attend an inquest which is simply an investigation into the circumstances of a sudden death, or one where the general practicioner will not/cannot issue a death certificate.
You can apply to the local Coroner (usually a solicitor or doctor and usually about the most powerful person in his part of the country due to the power his office has) for result of any inquest which they have on record.
