Is there really a difference between having an abortion, or waiting until the child is born and then killing it?
Shouldn't the only instances for allowing abortion be when a woman is raped against her will, as well as cases of incest? - OR when the life of the mother is in jeopardy?
Come on people, how would you feel if your parents had abortion? (more like wouldn't feel.... ; you wouldnt exist.) Just some stuff to chew on!
Which is better to remember, "I gave my baby life. And because I loved him, I gave him into the arms of a loving couple" - or to remember, "I selfishly ended my baby's life?"
People pose the argument: "A woman has a right to her body" - Of course she does!, but rights have limits . . . I have a right to swing my fist, but that right stops at your nose. We have a right to freedom of religion, but not if that religion involves human sacrifice.
A woman has a right to her body, but this new being, growing within her is not part of her body.

I want to be a lawyer so that I can defend those who are mistreated and misrepresented. I see it all my life and it's the humanitarian in me, I guess...so I was wondering why they are hated.

My Opinion is no. But thats not the point. I want to know what you guys think. (I'm doing a persuasive essay about it and it would be nice to have a recent surrvey)

Also if you could tell me WHY you are on which side.
(I'm trying to prove in my essay thatmost people who are against it feel that way because of religion.) Even though there is a Law called Separation of Church and State...so any law cannot be based on religion. (I think this one is.)

Thank you so much!
Please be honest w/ answers!

Julie
for example: Yes, it should be banned. Because of religion.

I have gone to the police with actual proof, and they went to his house and "talked" to him. He admitted to stalking me and said it will never happen again. all he dies is follow me around, prank call me, watch my house from a distance...all that crap. It seems that he knows that he's doing just enough so that I can't get a restraining order. In the state of Maine he can intimidate me to tears, but until he threatens to harm me and I have some proof of it, I can't do a thing! Today when I was home alone with my babies (I live way out in the country) he pulled his car into my driveway and turned around in it!!! It is as if he was trying to tell me that he is still out there and he's not going anywhere!!! What am I supposed to do???

I believe that Napster was the first free software program to allow people to download music for free, but then the got slapped by a huge law suite by the music industry. They are back up, but now they charge for their music. How are the other programs able to remain legal. Sure you can use can use it to download legal files only, but who uses it just to download legal music with no copyrights. 99% of the music on limewire is music that is protected by copyright, meaning that it is illegal to share or download. For every legal file on limewire, their are millions of illegal files on it, so why have it legal in the first place. Just carious as to why these programs are legal now, and they were not before.

My cousin was leaving a large department store at the same time that an alleged shoplifter was leaving the store. My cousin got in her car, and 2 security officers came up to her car asking her to get out of the car and to return any stolen merchandise. She panicked and drove off while the men yelled out that she was going to go to jail and they also recorded her license plate. Is she going to be charged for any type of crime here in California since she did not comply with the security to get out of the car? What should I do to help my cousin?

Let's say you were a juror on a very highly known murder case.Let's go even further and say a double murder to make it more interesting. You heard all testimonies from both sides. There is a slight discripency in some of the evidence but the majority of the jurors say guilty but you hesitate. The majority rules on guilty. knowing this gut feeling could you as one of the jurors give the sentence of death knowing that there could be a slight chance of this person's innosence?
