The constitution prohibits a person form being compelled to testify agianst oneself. Yet oneself includes thier spouse.

Civil debts of one spouse are legal enforced agianst another, in most states of the union. It not the office of President a Civil Post.

This country has a history of appointing the spouse of representive to complete their term. I assume becuase they have work together.

Did not the preacher say from two there is now one.

Was Hillary not an active part of Bill adminastation? Yes she ran the Health Care fiasco.

A guy on a motorcycle ran into me and had injuries, I turned left in front of him (did not see him) yes it was my fault. He is now demanding $60,000. My insurance company has already paid the limit and he is wanting more because the insurance did not cover all. He has Blue cross and state farm also. I have been advised if I did not settle that it could go to a jury trial and he could end up getting more!. Well if I cant pay the 60 how can he get more out of me. I do not have that kind of money! What are my options? Bankruptcy or changing my identity? The insurance company gave me a lawyer to contact, but somehow the insurance company does not seem to have my best interest. Should I get my own lawyer? Geez wonder how much that cost? What should I do? It wasnt like I meant to hit him! Whats the worst case and the best case and best and worst options?

My father-in-law recently suffered a stroke - he is still in hospital. His son has informed my wife (the sister) that he has taken a lawyer to the hospital to consult with the father and basically he now has power of attorney over the father's affairs. The brother informs us that he intends buying the family home and obviously has access to all the father's banking facilities. Surely even someone with power of attorney has to answer and be accountable to someone? Recent bank statements arrived for the father with unusual cash withdraws? Any help, my wife is sick with worry, her mother passed on 3 years ago leaving the estate to her father.

I work for a retail company and have just been told that I have to book my 4 week holiday entitlement for next year (that starts on April) before the 20th of January. If I don't book my 4 weeks off, they will designate my holidays for that year, are they allowed to do this?

Different "groups" and their workers etc.?

Food Service
Manual Labor
Health Care

You cannot pay the person who cleans and takes care of people (CNA), the same as a burger flipper or, a floor sweeper the same as a ditch digger. If they grouped them, and decided the minimum wage within their own groups, they should be "happier", yes?

I thought these were illegal, it is a chain letter basically. In the letter it says according to postal code title 18, section 1302, and 1342 of postal and lottery laws... The scam is to buy more adresses so you can mail out 300 letters.... I am not going to respond, but what does anyone know about this type of scam..? Should I pitch it or give it to the post office?

My wife had to have surgery in Aruba resulting from a fall in a Dutch Bar (The Paddock). Hospital would not take insurance BC/BS and it was all out of pocket. Had to extend my stay an xtra 10 days-all this on CC/over 10 grand. Now I'm told too bad so sad!
No tort law there. This did not happen in an American held property. Any recourse??? DO NOT GET INJURED IN ARUBA-ALL THEY DO IS PICK YOUR POCKETS!
Anyone been in the same situatiion. To compound matters, the surgery was done wrong (the rod in the femur was too short & the screws were too long). I'm told there is no malpratice law in Arub as well. The procedure was done by the head of the hospital. DO NOT GO THERE. FLY OUT EVEN IF IT IS LIFE THREATENING.

Chicks spend hours getting themselves ready to leave the house, then while driving to where they are going they are still brushing their hair, putting on make up and/or talking on the cell phone. They are doing all the stuff they were doing for the 2 hours it takes them to get ready. Obviously Chicks are a danger to everyone so I propose they be banned from driving, or if allowed, then no make up, cell phones or hair brushes be allowed on them while they do so.

This is the quick story......My boyfriend cheated on me with this teenage *****......He has stopped seeing her and we're trying to work things out. I smoke and I go outside (because I have a 9 year old son with cerebral palsy and I don't think he should be around my smoke....), and her friend keeps driving past my house! I don't know if the skank he slept with is in the car or not. But last night she rode past my house 6 times!!!! And she yells sh*t out the window and plays music really loud. I didn't do anything to these people except call the skank a whore.....(cuz that's what she is....) I'm tired of this crap!!! And I think a couple of times they have threw things at my car and house (a water bottle & a big bolt). This is so stupid!!! I'm 29 years old and I really just wanna punch these bitches in the damn face!!! But I have never been in a fight in my life. I just don't know how to get these f-ing teenagers (they are 19) to STOP driving past my house!! I'm tired of this CRAP!!!

If a person had his or her child removed because of abuse in the form of subjecting said child to unhealthy living conditions and negligence, but not including physical or direct emotional abuse, would it be considered unlawfully reckless to put another child in the care of the same person whose biological child was removed do to the aforementioned type of abuse?

Does there need need to be an actual abuse conviction against a person for it to be considered reckless to place a child in that person's care, or can a court have removed the first child, acting in the child's interest, and have its action have the weight of a conviction of abuse, thereby making the placement of another child in the unconvicted abuser's care still reckless?

Let me start by saying I am not stating a position on whether this is true or not. I am also not looking for a Clinton bashfest.

If this activity proves true then it may be exactly the kind of abuse of power which the Bush adminsitration has been accused of. It really depends on whether it was properly supported by FISA warrants.

From the liberal stndpoint. If it is proved true will you finally hold Mr. Clinton's feet to the fire, or will the defenders rally together and deny any wrong doing no matter what the findings are?

From the conservative standpoint. If the actions are true and supported by proper FISA warrants will you take the highroad, accept that no wrong doing occurred and move on?

Lastly, if the actions are true and there is no FISA warrant, should Congress undertake hearings on the matter?

Judge defies Manila, keeps U.S. Marine in jail 2 hours

MANILA (Reuters) - A Philippine judge sidelined his government on Wednesday and denied a U.S. request for custody of a Marine who was convicted of raping a Filipino woman last year, while he appeals his case.

The Philippine government had agreed with the U.S. embassy that under the terms of a Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA), Daniel Smith should remain in U.S. custody while he appeals last week's guilty verdict and sentence of life in prison.

But Judge Benjamin Pozon said it was Justice Secretary Raul Gonzalez and Chief State Prosecutor Jovencito Zuno who violated the treaty when they made an agreement with U.S. Ambassador Kristie Kenny to return the 21-year-old to her custody.
