I signed with a new workout gym very close to my home and pay half ($150) for a 2-year contract. The gym was not finish at the time. It fell through because of the conflict with the city ordiance.

I guess they sold my membership to another gym further away.

I signed up with the new one because I can drop off my kids at the school pool that was only a half of a block away and I can go work out.

I can only workout at this time because I homeschool and do daycare all day. My husband goes to work from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Now that the other gym is further away, It is nearly impossible to attend there with my time contraint.

Now they are demanding the remaining payment of $150.

I try to talk to them on the phone. But the person on the other line showed no understanding or compassion and ratted off the clause in the contract.

What can I do?

I was thinking about bringing all 7 kids with me and go talk to the owner of gym and tell him my predicatment

i was in a vehicle with a friend and was hit by another car it hurt me in the wreck (but didnt do much to the car) i was thrown into the dash causing whiplash. the ambulance had to take me to the E.R and i was released and has to attend physical therapy for a couple of weeks bc of the knots in my back and all that and i had a total of $3,600 in medical bills. my attorney started working on my case back in january when it happend. the other car was a rental car so he had to sue the rental insurance. im still waiting for my settlement money. the attorney said the insurance place has an offer of $5,000. should this be the appropriate amount or should i be entitled to more? i miss lots of school due to this and lost my credits so i cant graduate with the rest of the class. is this a fair amount?

I bought some more clothes at Pasquesi's auto repair, and they've simply gone too far. Not only are there stains on my clothes, but there are biased tortellini stains. Another stain is holographic and I've given up on it. I want to file a lawsuit against Pasquesi's and make them paint over the stains with gold adhesive. Ive already contacted a neighbor of my mine who happens to be Boo Radley, and he says I should press charges for full custody. What should I do?

MLK, Jr. wanted everyone in America to be colorblind. Remember this?

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will NOT BE JUDGED BY THE COLOR OF THEIR SKIN but by the content of their character.

I completely believe that black people should have all the rights and privileges of everyone else, and that racism is a thing of the past, but isn't this being just as racist? I think white people would have a much easier time of forgetting their racism if they weren't constantly reminded of how blacks get some breaks that they don't.

I saw this bill about a year ago. There was a lot of details in the article. I found it on AOL. The bill provides a way for people to avoid foreclosure and at the same time assist banks from suffering the negative shortcomings of foreclosed properties. Does anyone have any info on that to share with me?

"Debt at work" - If oil was discovered on your property, could your adjacent neighbor also take claim to that oil? How about legally or illegally? Has a case like this gone to court before? Could the neighbor win in a court of law or is there no chance of winning? Would it make a difference if a major corporation was the one trying to take claim to that oil?

I own a Gutter business. We did a home for someone in a trailer. They don't want to pay for the job because they are not satisfied when we finished the job. We told them we never collect payment until we finish and they are happy with the job. If they are not, we will take care of whatever problems. So they were not happy, we called 20 times to try and fix the problem, they don't call back. What can I do and how? A lien? A notice of intent to lien? I need help. Thanks

I just moved out of a house that I rented and the movers put some marks on the wall. I tried doing some touch ups but the paint color that I used was wrong. (I went to Home Depot with a sample I got from the room.) The landlord is telling me it's wrong and I have agreed to repaint over it but the landlord can't tell me what the correct color of the wall is. He is now wanting me to pay $3000 to repaint the walls. Not only does this sound excessive, what are my rights? I agreed to repaint the wall but I don't know what color I am supposed to use and the landlord won't tell me.

I filed a complaint against the defendant! they had 30 daays to file an answer! they did not in the allotted time, so I filed for a motion for default judgement. while I was filing the motion, the defendants decided to respond almost 30 days past the time limit. The answer the defendants filed was a motion to dismiss. The courts put the motion for default judgement on the back burner and made a court date to hear the motion to dismiss!
