"Capitol" is a building, as in the state capitol building, which is located in the state capital.
Punishment is "capital" and yes, it should be used a lot more often, particularly in drunk driving offenses where there is a fatality. We need to kill off a lot of the maniac drivers from the roads and this is one way to do it.

Even though I consider myself liberal on most social issues, I tend to favor capital punishment in certain cases. Usually when the murder committed is unusually sadistic in nature or if the murderer deliberately kills many people, than I support capital punishment.
The only way that the murderer can pay the price for what they have done is to give up their own. Many opponents of the death penalty claim that the State is committing the same crime that the murderer is by putting him to death.
But I think that by choosing to take away an innocent person's life by viciously murdering them, the murderer has willingly forfeited his rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, in which case, I believe that society does have the right to put him to death.
However there are several issues that complicate the matter. I believe that the death penalty should only be applied if the murderer has confessed to his crimes, or if there is undisputable proof that he/she is guilty. Otherwise, I would support life in prison.

I'm for it but under certain circumstances. When there is absolutely irrefutable evidence such as DNA or Video. Only certain eye witness accounts can be used if there is enough other evidence to support it and if the accused was known to the eye witness. There have been too many cases of innocent men sitting in prison convicted of crimes they didn't commit because the eye witness was sure he was the guy. I think certain murderers and child rapists should die. Not all murders should apply. Crimes of passion should not be capital crimes.

whats capitol? lol capital :).. hrmm my views are if they kill 100 people vs someone who kills 1 and they are serving the same sentence that is not justice. An eye for an eye. I believe in the system. Besides even if you kill someone that's not even a guarantee you will die, you have to have committed some insane act of crime and hate to get the death penalty.

Capitol Punishment then money interior the business company. BQ a million: i do not realize each often times wrestlers get that, it really is like Cena, he's a face yet Chicago seems to hate him, they boo him plenty. it really is like Jerry Lawler says "the team is in bizarro land" they boo a face and cheer a heel, it occurs plenty. BQ 2: No i in my view do no longer care in spite of everything, stupid storyline.

I used to be against it, because so many innocent people were on death row. If there is DNA and other solid evidence, it's reasonable to support it, but only for premeditated murder.
I'm against the 3 strikes law though. We have people doing life in prison for buying weed too many times, while manslaughter convictions are released after 8 years.

i guess depending on the offence. if someone has killed another person then maybe capital punishment is a good thing. but then you also get people who argue against it saying some people are not 'right in the head' so to speak, so what do they do about it then..??

What capital punishment?
We need capital punishment. It would be a better place and people would think twice before choosing to be stupid.

I'm a strong supporter. I believe that someone does something wrong, they deserve to be punished. However, I do believe that we need to be careful.
While your life can never be taken from you, it never should be except in sure situations.

I am against it. I was for it but now it is apparent that there are just too many innocent people sitting in our jails. DNA has done a lot for freeing innocent people who were judged guilty
