I have a friend who always threathens to use the leagal system to get back at you if you do something wrong. He says that one thing he ahs learned in this country in the 8 years that he is here is to not speak but to "sue " people for money and then they understand things. It presents a difficult situation .
He wants to sue me over a minor issue and I told him he will not win. He says he wants to do it anyways. I have tried to speak to him but he is not listening . He says he has the time and the money to go to court and will get more money if he wins.
WOW, I am just blown away with his attitude. If you hurt him he is so bitter. WHY?????

I am reposting this because for some reason people think i'm out to stick it to the store and that I am some lazy dumb *** looking for a handout. this is not true I am a full time nurse and also a full time student. This was a warmer that I burned my hand on while removing a pre-packageg chicken. I was not expecting the warmer to be that hot. This thing is located in the front of the store and is open for all to acess even children. I was not even thinking about sueing until I realized the scar that this was leaving. I am not trying to be rude and I appricieate all answers even the rude ones.
there is no sign that says caution and there is no way that thing should have been that hot! I was going to let it go but now I have this ugly scar on my hand that everyone keeps asking me about. I wonder should I write a letter to the manager or get a lawyer, I took pictures. What should I do. Do I even have a cae.

OREGON CITY, Ore. - Clackamas County Sheriff's Office personnel responded Friday to a domestic disturbance call made from a son who claimed his mother had stabbed him.

Upon arrival, uniform personnel contacted the mother and her biological son who were both present and alone in their apartment. Police separated the mother and son for interviewing purposes. Immediately deputies say they recognized the son had suffered very substantial knife wound cuts on his hand and face.

Authorities say that that altercation began when Marko Rajic Leposava, 21, ate some popcorn that had been prepared by his mother. The mother, 49-year-old Lepa Rajic Leposova, reportedly intoxicated, became enraged at her son for eating the popcorn she had made for herself. Marko says she slapped the bowl out of his hand onto the floor and demanded he clean it up.

Marko refused to clean up the mess and went into his room. He says he could hear her go into the kitchen but assumed she was making another cocktail. Lepa Rajic Leposova allegedly armed herself with a knife from the kitchen and attacked her son in his bedroom. Authorities say Marko suffered a deep cut to his face, about 2 inches from his eye. While trying to defend himself, Marko received several cuts on his hands.

While being treated at Milwaukie Providence Hospital for his knife wounds, Marko expressed additional concern to the deputy sheriff present about the bath towel he wrapped his wounded hand in to prevent the excessive bleeding. The deputy says Marko appeared anxious as he described the potential consequences he may suffer from his mother for soiling this towel with his blood.

Suspect Lepa Rajic Leposava was charged with assault and is lodged in Clackamas County Jail. She is due in court Dec. 11.

Can a relative petition the court for consideration of placement of a child who is already in adoptions but not yet adopted. It is a 6 month old baby in a adoption foster home. The relative just discovered that the baby was going to adoptions, she didn't realize that the mother wasn't being offered reunification services or she would have stepped in sooner, but the mother (her cousin) kept this information from her.

In Iraq & other countries, our soldiers are fighting for other countries. America is considered the most powerful country on earth & fighting in other countries protects our national security. If the US has that much power, they don't have to fight there, we don't have to worry about being attacked again if we have all that power! News reports & other soldies who have come home state fighting in other countries isn't necessary & would not go back.
What do you think of this?
