The money never gets to them anyways, it just goes to the warlords and dictators that run the countries. In the mean time, everyone thinks that the are so great that they donated their money to help some starving kids.
Most of these charities are set up to help the one who is donating feel good about themselves. They don't give a crap about the causes they are pushing. They just want your money.

wow thats sooo true!! i never thought of it ur way! i guess we americans are just soo self centered and want to give to the poor cuz they are soo much lower than us. but honestly, i don't think like that. i just pity them because i feel soo lucky to be born in a good family and that i wasn't born because of an accident....so that's why i help the poor over there everyonce in a while. but ur soo rite, i would totally send food and birth control patches over there than money. thanks for giving me a new perspective of that.

its probably beauce we feel sorry for them but we understand its their own fault right? but i guess people here just dont care. they DO have a lot of babies but some of them arent even theirs. they could only have five or four and the rest are neices and nefews. they adopt them beause their parents died. so i guess thats why we donate because we feel sorry for them and think by wasting our money on little stupid toys and games will end their suffering.
