They protect the constitutional rights of thhose arrested and help greedy people get money when they slip and fall in Wal-Mart. That's what people want.

The "good" things lawyers do (protect Constitutional rights, make contracts function smoothly) are usually done in private, while the "bad" things they do (free guilty people on technicalities, file frivolous lawsuits) are often very public. People simply hear much of the bad and quickly forget the good.

A doctor who prescribes antibiotics for a cold is doing something he knows is wrong, but if it's published at all, it's as "My doctor gave me an antibiotic and I got well," and, since people who have a cold usually do get well, it's true, though unrelated.
Lawyers' indiscretions are often a matter of public record.
And to return at least in part to the medical example, there once was a morning-sickness pill that was very safe and fairly effective, with no easy alternative, but lawyers kept filing suits against the manufacturer. Time and again experts averred to the safety of the drug, but still the lawyers filed, until the drug could no longer be sold because of the expense of the suits. Is it any wonder that pregnant women (and their obstetricians) cuss lawyers?

Well you might find one lawyer in a thousand that actually helps someone. Lawyers are trash. The scum of the earth. Bottom feeders. They rank right up there with queers according to God.
You know you are trash when God even denounces you. Lawyers lie cheat and steal as a profession. They as a group destory people lives steal there children and then claim it was there job. Like I said they are trash. You can quote me on that!
These people are the the real thilf of this world. Even seen a great number of poeple at a lawyers graveside they are waiting to urionnate on the grave. Ever seen a lawyer give someone money they are getting ready to sue them. I will never shed a tear for a lawyers passing. Yes I know lawyers very well.

Its because they don't have any ethics. None at all!! They are only worried about winning and how much money they can make on a case. Right or Wrong is not ever considered. An obvious murderer can get off because a cop made a mistake on some paperwork. That's why everyone hates lawyers.

Too many of them are snakes who would sell their grandmother for an Armani suit, and rape everything from their mothers and chihuahuas to good faith and any sense of right or wrong to win a case. Those are concerned with making a buck and getting as large a winning record as possible, and don't consider such contingencies as whether their client is right or wrong, or the use of under the belt unfair tactics in winning their cases.
They make the whole profession look bad, and the fact that the profession makes nothing to curb them, and that they are such a large part of it doesn't help either.

yes they do help people get money from wal mart which we all end up paying for also the lawyer helps himself a hell of a lot more than he helps others, they are a dishonest group of theives as a rule but , there are a few who are good men,

The good lawyers don't do what the bad lawyers do, because is anti-ethic.

Because vices are more recognized than virtues, and both the defendant and prosecutor have to have a lawyer, guilty or not.
