I'm not sure where you are getting your information.
The first lady has the right and I feel the duty to be involved in social reforming projects. No other woman has so much influence in correcting social injustices.
But I can't think of any wives of presidents in recent history who were asked to finish their husbands terms because he couldn't or was assassinated.
