Are you asking about children being forced to attend public school?

Then, absolutely, those laws must be repealed!

The public schools are unsafe, and they've degenerated into government indoctrination centers.

Graduates are very knowlegable in politically correct social issues, but they are terribly subliterate, without basic skills.

As a glaring example, look at the postings on the Internet, including this forum.

Children will be safer and better educated if their parents teach them at home, or if the children are taught at a private school, with no government funding or supervision.

No, we should not. However, our education system should be modified to be much more competitive. One example of such a modification would be to force children to pass exams for EACH GRADE, and base their opportunities for ALL further education on their scores & performance. Those who do well go to college. Those who don't, learn a trade. I do NOT believe in the "no child left behind" laws.
