Assisinations by poison have been going on through Russian Intelligence and until this most recent news, it's now creating an awareness that the USSR needs reform within their government to stop this onslought of harassment and murder. Does this affect your attitude toward that Nation, and what would be your level of trust at this point?

Someone backed in to my car in a parking lot and they are 100% at fault. We both have insurance but don't want to report it because the damage is only around $350. We both know that our premiums would go up if we reported it, but the guilty party refuses to pay. Can I take them to small claims court, or do I have to report it to the insurance company?

Well... STORY: I'm looking to buy a computer sometime next year. I'm currently looking at the Dell e520, which has many of the specs that I drool over.

PROBLEM: When I go through the desktop setup online (http://www.dell.com/content/topics/segtopic.aspx/services/dimen/e520s3_bundles?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs), Dell will give the option to select "savings bundles" their NO BUNDLES SAVINGS option still has a 1 year At-Home Service.

QUESTION: Isn't Dell being unethical for not offering the product without services? A customer should be able to select Products without purchasing services from any company. Am I wrong or right here? Is there a way to fix this without making a big fuzz?

My 72 yr old father was terminated yesterday from his employer of 6 years. He worked as a caretaker of mentally challenged adults. They stated that he was suppose to sign some forms on medication that he administered. My father stated that on the day the signature was missing was a day that HE DID NOT work. They fired him anyways. I believe they are taking advantage of him because of his age. My father is an excellent worker, has been his whole life. Is never late and has not missed a day in years. He needs the income and is at a loss right now. I want to help him and have tried to find info of US Dept. of Labor website. Can someone please give me suggestions on what to do. We can not afford a lawyer. All my dad wants is to work. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

I have the worst luck. It started well - I was invited for dinner by friends and had a lovely meal at Brian Turner's restaurant at the Millenium Hotel in Grosvenor Square. We spent the rest of the night in the Pine Bar where I enjoyed a number of excellent vodka martinis. The only problem is that the date was 1st November, which was the day Mr Litvenenko availed himself of the hotel's hospitality.

Consequently, I have been contacted by the appropriate agencies and now have to do a urine test to see if I'm going to start glowing in the dark. I'm not massively worried - I have enough bad habits (those vodka martinis and a fondness for marlboro lights) to already have more immediate health concerns.

However, after receiving the equipment for the urine test (beautifully packaged in a Sainsbury's carrier bag sealed with masking tape, and left under a plant pot in my garden with no instructions at all), I wonder if my alcohol and cigarette intake will affect the results of the test?

IN MY DEBATE CLASS I'm arguing against Capital Punishment (A.K.A, the Death Penalty). Now, I am usually for it when it comes to certain cases, i.e, rape, murder, or smt equally as heinous, but I have chosen to argue against it to see what the other side has to say about Capital Punishment.
I was quite dismayed that most arguments against Captial Punishment was for religious reasons... now, I have to research my side, and I'm curious as to what both sides for or against Capital Punishment has to say, but I am not interested in religious reasons why it's right or wrong, K?

Imagine you are in Central London or any major city in the U.K. You hail a taxi. As you are settling down in the back of the taxi you see a smart leather attache case on the floor. Surreptitiously, so that the driver does not see, you open the case and find £50,000 in small used notes. From what you see in the case it is clear that this is drug money. Question: what would you do? Keep the money? After all you are only depriving some scumbag crim. of his loot. Hand the money over to the authorities? They are highly unlikly to find and arrest the owner, and he is as unlikly to report it's loss. So what would ypu do?

I can’t think of anything more “unreasonable” than seizing private financial papers and effects every year without a warrant. It seems like a overt violation of the 4th amendment right to privacy. . . .

4th Amendment: "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures shall not be violated..."

Can you help find my ex?

I suddenly thought that if enough people read this, someone might know where this deadbeat dad is.

He quit a job intentionally so his wages couldn't be garnished for child support. Then he disappeared. The child support office doesn't know where he is, so they can't help me.

I have reason to believe he is somewhere around Chassell or Houghton-Hancock, Michigan.

His name is Brian John Komula, age 43 and he owes back child support for his daughter. If anyone knows an address or phone number for this little fraction of a man, please e-mail me the information. No one has to know where I got it and I will turn it over to the child support office and let them take things from there.

Thank you,

Sue

I've been living in my current home with my 4yr old daughter 4 15mths now & I read in the paper yesterday that a paedophile has been living in a house that runs parallel with mine.
All the back gardens are joined & are only seperated by a 5ft fence.
This means any time my daughter was playing in the garden he could have been watching/photographing/videoing her from a bedroom window, it would even have been possible for him 2 speak 2 her over the fence or enter my garden.
My daughters childminder lives 2 doors away from this sicko as her garden also backs on2 our stretch of semi's.
He could have been watching her in either of our gardens.
The police had arrested him 6 months ago 4 a string of 36 attacks on people aged 4yrs -15yrs old, this was over a period of 25yrs.
He was released on bail & no-one in the area knew about it. He has now been found guilty in court & has 2 serve a minimum of 15yrs! -(Not long enough!)
I think we have a right 2 know where these ppl live.
Don't you?
