My son wont' admit anything to me and I need that police report to that particular case or charges to see what really happen. Someone told me to contact the district attorneys office. Can I get a copy without my son's permission he's 23yrs old.

A police report is a public record. If you know the precinct where he was arrested, you can call there and find out how much they charge to photocopy and send you the police report. Usually it's just a per page charge, certainly less than $10.00. Get the address and write to the precinct and enclose the fee with a prepaid return envelope. You could also contact the DA for a copy of the report, same deal. You do not need your son's permission.

In PA, criminal investigation reports are not public records. The DA does not have to give you a copy, no matter what your son says.
I suggest you try talking to your son's defense attorney. He will want to keep the report confidential, for your son's protection. He may be willing to answer your questions. Since the case is ongoing, the DA will not tell you anything.
