i have been sent several e-mails asking for my name to be used in a claim to a deceased inheritance with whom i share the same surname. the deceased has no next of kin and the person who sends e-mails is the acting attorney, he claims that it is legal and the inheritance will be split 40/60 in favour of the attorney, seems to good to be true but is it legal

I know that Rush Limbaugh was eventually charged with "Doctor Shopping" in regard to his illegal drug purchases.

But he was caught buying drugs from his cleaning lady.

His punishment was relatively minor. What happened to the cleaning lady?

My work have investigated and dont have enough evidence to do anything but i have launched criminal proceedings although the police have said they also may not have enough evidence - can he sue me for defamation of character if theres not enough to prove he did do it?

MY HUSBAND USED DRUGS ME NOT KNOWING WHEN I WAS AT WORK HE STAYED AT HOME WITH THE 3 KIDS. WHEN I CAME HOME FROM WORK I CHECKED ON THE BABY AND SHE WAS SOBBING AT 9 MONTHS HE BEAT HER AND I CALLE DTHE POLICE ECT. THEY CAUGHT MY HUSBAND AND PROMISED ME THEY WOULD NOT TAKE MY KIDS AWAY ANDI BELIEVED THEM THEY CAME BACK 2 DAYS LATER AND RIPPED MY CHILDREN FROM ME AND THEY WERE IN CHILD PROTECTIVE CUSTODY. IN COURT I HAD TO AGREE TO PLEA GUILTY TO NEGLECT FOR LEAVING MY KIDS WITH THERE DAD. IS THIS ON MY PERMANENT RECORD? I WORKED IN DAYCARE ALL MY LIFE I AM A GREAT WOMEN AND MOTHER TO SIX CHILDREN....

It is my understanding that no business can be conducted without a quorum, however I do not know if a motion can be made and seconded and that the motion would be tabled until the next meeting... At the next meeting the motion would be on the table for vote..... Or not?

I went shopping with a co-worker at the mall. I purchased a few items at another store but ended up at a department store(Where we had parked and walked through). While I was shopping my co-worker offered to hold my some of my bags(She had no bags). She said that she was going to try some things on and carried my bags along with her clothes to try on into the fitting room. When she exited she had my bags and nothing to purchase, saying nothing she tried on fit and handed me my bags back. When we left the store and got into my car I saw her pull a few things from my bag and put them into her backpack(which she had left in my car). I checked later and everything I purchased was in my bags. I think she stole 2 tops that were about $150 each. Can the store copy down my car tag and track me down since she left with me? We look kinda similar, thin and blonde hair. Could they track me down with and charge me, they were my bags to begin with? Could they confuse us and charge me? Help!

marijuana calms the nerves and makes the user relax sure it does harm but so does alcahol so why doesn't alchahol stand as an illegal "drug" too it causes more problems than marijuana

was in a car accident it was the other persons fault and i had back injuries due to this. In medical bills the amount was $13,200. The car was fixed by insurance already because it was a loaner and i didn't miss work because i was umemployeed at that time. well they mad me a offer of $18,000. So 13,200 goes to bills and the rest to me. Is that a good offer or should i try for more. i was emotionally torn apart from this and scared to drive and i still am shaken up by this. so what do ya'll think? I need help.

My husband just went through a surgery that was supposed to be for Alser (the doctory saw in CAT scan). but nothing was there so they took out some dead tissues, kept him open for few days and said. "Oh we believe it was pancriatitus". and now he has to stay home for another 3 weeks.
Does some one know a good medical lawyer that i can use in NJ? i dont think the surgery was necessary and they did it about just 5 hours after he went to emergency dept.

Can one file bankruptcy on child support arrearages? Also, it has been proven that the original arrearage was $75.00 then a month later it went to 1k then 3 k 2 months later and now it is over 44k in arrearages. Any suggestions out there? Time was served for 39 days because of child support. Can one be charged again for the same thing? Can they garnish wages for child support arrearages? Can they take tax refunds legally?

Without going into too much detail, my co-workers and I have reason to believe our employer put a microphone in the employee bathroom/locker room, presumably to monitor us because they never go in there and/or to catch us breaking rules, etc. I know it's illegal to have a camera in a bathroom, but could someone tell me if eavesdropping on employees in the bathroom in a concealed fashion is legal?

I paid my lawyer $1000.00 but i didn't go thru with the divorce. The only things the lawyer did was file the complaint with the court,(160.00), and write up the complaint., 3 pages. My husband was never served . The lawyer told me that he did what he was supposed to and I don't get any refund. I only spoke to the man twice. Once at the consultation, and then to sign the divorce complaint.
