My father has never paid child support & hasn't been ordered to. How do I get him to?

the honor system doesnt work, thats why they have the child support laws (state and federal).

first, tell your mom to call the local superior court clerks office. they can tell you how to download the forms online or come pick them up. she has to file them exactly as it states.

also, tell her to contact legal aid...they are in every state and are free to most. your parent has to do all of this, for she is the one who has to fight for it.

Have your mom contact an attorney. If you can't afford one, contact the State's Health & Welfare program. They'll turn the case over to the attorney general's office to get a child support order in place. Also, you can always try applying for welfare if you are eligible. That'll put the State in warp speed to try and get you child support.

YOU can't. Child support is to the mother. She can file charges and get a court order. She can sue if the order isn't complied with, or have him jailed, but you can't.
