I DO think that this rule should be amended, because people who are not a natural-born America should have all the rights to become pres.

No. With about 300 million citizens in the US, we have plenty to pick from. There would be no benefit to the US to change this part of the Constitution. The cost, in terms of time and money, would be enormous. The House of Representatives would have to approve an amendment. The Senate would have to approve it. The President would have to approve it. Two thirds of the States would have to ratify it. So, it ain't gonna happen.

I wouldn't have a problem with amending the requirement. The main reason behind the rule in the first place was to prevent what was going on in Europe at the time where different countries were often ruled by monarchs from other nations that had married into the crown somehow. This is no longer a concern, although certainly citizenship should be a requirement and having citizenship for some period of time (more then four years)would also be a good idea.
If we the people think that someone not born in America somehow won't have the US's interest at heart then we can simply not vote them in.

absolutely NO. there is an inherant reason for the president to be natural born. i believe the founders believed (& so do i) that there must be a deep seated understanding of what it means to be an AMERICAN in order to guide. Too bad this particular president does not, but it has worked for the most part in the past.

First of all, it's not a "Rule", it is governed by and Article in the Constitution. Only one way to change that, and that is to amend the Constitution, which I don't think you are going to see any time soon. Why would we want someone like "Arnold" to be able to run for President, and he can't even vote!!

NO! A natural born citizen. American offers more then many other countries off to it's natulized citizens. They can do anything else any other citizen can do except run for President.
