Well, if you're "consuming" it, then yes, since people weren't ment to eat paper. :P
But seriously: it's probably not the best use of your time. And it tends to take over your brain for a little while too. If it is detracting from your ability to get your work done on time, or influenceing your relationships with people, then yes. If not, then it's just not the best thing to do with your time, especially on a frequent basis.
As for secret viewing, I'd say that it's not really a horrid dishonesty since what you do in your free time is your own buisness, unless it's harming your or others as mentioned above.

No, pornography itself isn't dangerous. This country (despite the fact you can see everything short of penetration by watching MTV in the middle of the day) is very prudish when it comes to sex and likes to make it dirty and dangerous. However, porn, like everything, should be in moderation. If you have to have a secret viewing habit, your consumption has probably gone past the level of "moderate"

While it may be a dangerous vice, it is nowhere near as dangerous as gambling or buying prostitues. Is it wrong? Yes, but it is not the worse thing you could be doing. I'd rather have my neighbor masturbate than going around and trying to get dirty pictures from windows.

Pornography is basically not good but very tempting. Private viewing is not really immoral because it is just viewing the acts as long as no violence or immorality is done.

I knew a young couple, newly married. Although they were broke, the husband spent $100 on porn (And this was in the 70's)
The marriage didn't last six months.
I have also known many men, women and couples who enjoy porn and feels it adds to the romance.
Bottom line......I dunno...
