A muslim woman is campigning for her right to wear her veil in a classromm...kids teacher (this covers the face and only leave a little peep hole for the eyes)...surely this is really dangerous in general in addition to the fact that it increases segregation...However a BA worker was sacked because she wore a crucifix on her neck. Surely this double standards has to end sometime...Are muslims becoming overly sensitive in this day and age...Surely we are allowed to express ourselves without being accused of 'islamophobia'. Jerry springer made a joke out of xtians but we took it well and didnt burn down anything. What would have happened if Mohammed was thebutt of Jerry's Joke? Yeah there were cartoons...so what...it s all about freedom of speech and if you dont like it then you should really be able to look away....

Isnt freedom of speech the right for me to insult others and the right for others to insult me...If your conscience allows it obviously!!!

Your thoughts please

There's a new piece of legislation going through called the 2006 Compensation Act which is looking to regulate claims companies which have increased the number of false claims through using phrases like No Win No Fee. Just wondering if everyone understands the phrase.

Many states that allow abortions (i.e. California) also consider it a double homicide to murder a mother and her unborn baby. What this says is that the baby is only a human if the mom wants it, otherwise it's not. Does this seem incredibly hypocritical to anyone else?

And if so, then why do we make laws against people who harm no one? And aren't those laws themselves criminal by this definition?

The telephone coop and the electric coop have trenched into my yard, tresspassed under my home, and run utilities off of my meter and pole and conveiniently cut the phone line outside my yard fence without contacting me. They say that they got easement from my ex-in-laws, who do not have anything to do inside my yard. They own outside my fence.

My ex and I divorced 3 yrs ago. We have joint custody. Child support is the first check I write every week. I get the kids every other weekend. I work at night so having them during the week was not set up. I now am going to be getting a promotion and will be working day shift and would like to have the time split. one week with me, one week with her. She is making a big scene about this. My little girl is 8 and she wants to spend more time with me and do the weekly deal. My son is 14 and when I asked his thoughts he said he wanted to spend more time with me, but was worried if his mom was doing something the week he would be with me and he wanted to go with her( his mom is friends with his "girlfriends" mom, and they go visit or eat over sometimes). She is getting ugly with me constantly bringing up past problems what I dont understand is she has remarried. Thought she would have let go. So do you think a judge (or intake officer) will grant me more time with them?
