CONSIDERING THE QURAN:

It does say to kill infedils but that was when the muslims where returnting to Meckka. And the infediels where the people who prosecuted the muslims and chased them o to al-madina, killed some of them, and stole there home/property.

The Quran is for evry day, every country, and evry age, but some of the verses are for certain incedints like the afore mentioned and some are stories. Some are evn commnads for muslims at the time.

The Arabic word is amazing, and a simple dash over a letter changes the meaning of the word, and this is also very much overlooked by translators.




First of all: The only muslims that are forced to wear "those horrible black bodybags" are the whabieon of Saudi Arabia, and they are considered strict like the puritans.

Secondly: You dont even have to wear the body bag. It is most common among older women because it originated as tradition before Islam.

Thirdly: The only required clothes ware for muslim women is to cover every thing but the hands and face. A few regard the "body bags" as a requirment (other than the whabeeon) just to be sure they are not commiting sin.

Fourthly: Isnt the west the body calling the Hijab (Head scarf) and the Abaya+bourga (balck robe+facemask) an act of segregation?

Nobody should bud into other peopl's religons, and Jack Straw did.

first of all, ur ignorance is amazing. Get with it, muslim women are NOT forced to wear the clothes that they do wear. They do it because they want to and because of love to religion. Some Women who are SLAVES to fashion are forced to wear the tightest, shortest, most revealing outfit so that they can be accepted and noticed. It is very comfortabel to know that in Islam it is ur morality and personality that comes before looks. In the western world the most important thing concerning a women is her bra size and the length of her legs. Ever seen an ugly model, an ugly actress. And then we complain about the rise in the levels of anorexia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it is media that is teaching u that muslims all around the world are making trouble for everyone else. It is politics that have ignited the flame to this war.
Now let me ask u a question why are more women embracing islam than any other religion if they feel that theyr forced to wear these so called bnodybags?

How can the majority of the muslim world me causing trouble when as u know two days ago we celebrated eid. What did we go out and do. In a city in a western country the muslim population fed more than 30 000 poverty striken people both muslim and non muslim. All around the world hampers and money were distributed to the poor. It is incumbent apon us to remember the poor and give a portion of our wealth- excluding the distribution that i spoke about to the poor. How can we be the ones causing trouble when we choose to spend our day of celebration helping the needy and are encouraged to do this all year round.

And no we are not told to kill any non muslims. People misinterpret the quraan and donot look at the reason behind the revelation of a certain verse or verses or chapters. In war women, children, the elderly and innocent are not to be harmed. We are even prohibited from harming ( burning etc) trees during war. Even suicide is not allowed in Islam. We believe that Allah does not place apon you a burden greater than one can bear.
Allah says in the Quraan ‘ And let not the hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: That is next to peity; and fear Allah, for Allah is well acquainted with all that you do’ (5:8)

If they seek peace then seek you peace and trust in God for He is the Hearer the Knower’ ( 8:61)
The prophet Muhammed (peace be apon him) has said "The prophet ( pbuh) has said ‘ Do not kill the women, children, aged or the ill’ He also prohibited harming monks in their monasteries, cutting down trees, destroying livestock, wells, homes and lands of the enemies. As muslims we have no right to even burn up embassies.
Remember the Quraan is our guide, the actions and words of our prophet is our manual.

Please donot believe everything you hear or read!!!. and when u do read the Quraan read the explanation- called tafseer- as well.

Hey Come On!
I don't think this question is fair. I'm not a muslim but I respect them and what they believe. It is wrong to generalise all muslims to the ones causing problems in the world. And even the ones that are causing problems, we must think of why they do so. Most trouble in the world is caused by poverty and lack of education. Poverty and ignorance often leads to unrest and therefore to trouble. And instead of blaming religion and these poor people for creating troble we should look to help and ease the situation rather than to create more tension.
The veils many muslim women wear are often worn by choice and they are worn because they make a woman feel more comfortable rather than the opposite. Obviously there are probably exceptions to the rule, but there is no need to think everyone woman wearing a veil is forced to do so by some zellot, because that isn't the case.

If you ignore this answer that is fine, but PLEASE, try to have some more understanding and compassion. Tolerance is the MOST imporant thing. Remember that.

Not all Muslims are trouble! I'm sure most Muslims are very decent people, there's just a few radical ones who give them all a bad name, like a few people above me have said. Do you blame Muslims for being frustrated though, especially the ones in Palestine! Their land gets taken away and the Jews just move right on in without a 2nd thought! I'd be kind of frustrated too I think! And the Iraqis? I understand that Saddam was a bad man, but at least he had the country stable. Now the Americans are in there and the country is a dangerous mess. I wouldn't blame them for being mad at America in particular for that! Muslims are decent people. I've been wanting to read the Koran myself someday. The religion actually has a lot of very good spiritual aspects about it.

they hate everyone who isn't muslim! they think that the world should adhere to there teachings and terms! the women wear the clothing they do because the men want to keep them suppressed and not have a voice but they say it is to protect there beauty from the world and that this is for the husbands eyes,lol what a concept that is! i think its more to hide the bruises from the beatings for looking up from the ground! they also beat their men if they miss prayer 1 out of 5 times a day! when is allah going to run out of virgins? there aren't that many in the world! if that was true that would really be super natural!

One should have a good leader to guide us like Mahatma Gandhi who taught us the lession of non violence. Unfortunately the leadership of Musilms is in the hands of uneducated Mullahs. This is the only problem of Muslims. A boy who is unsuccessful to get admission for better education due to any reasion (finincial too) he goes to join Madarsa for religious education. I would not say that he should not go for religious education but together with this he need overall development of mentality and personality.

The teacher who is teaching him is also not having braod vision about the social life. These Mullahs have made the vision of Muslims narrow and the issues very complicated to show the fear of Allah and Heven & Hell.

In India the Muslims are economically backward so we can say that they are unable to get better education other than religious but there are many Muslim countries who have money but even then their approach is orthdox. I am Indian but working since last many years in a Muslim country where I got an apportunity to interact with various nationalities and fund all of them with similar approach more or less

Leaders of the Muslim community must be broad minded, educated and with an open vison. Leadership must go away from the hands of so called Mullahs who are unable to decide even the date of moon's visibility. What can we expect more from them?

Allah has created us all on this earth. We all are same by birth. but why our thinking and approach is varying from commuinity to community and country to country ? This only due to bad leadership and guidence.

I am happy that now young generation has started thinking on this point and the time will come when the people would see two different visions among the Muslims on this earth.

We are fasting in Ramadaan and according to Islam we must realize the pain of hunger of others to help them but we are away from that feeling. Islam tells us to pary, we are praying 5 times punctually but we are not punctual and disciplined in our daily life.

Eid Al Azha (Bakreed), we are sacrificeing goat in the name of Allah. The theme behind it is to get ready to sacrifice our every thing for others, even your own child. Are we ready? No we are selfish.

Islam is the religion of peice and scarifice but we are defaming Islam. Teachings of Isalm are not responsible but we Muslims are responsible for this situation.

It is being told in various circles that west is crushing Muslims but I am not agree with this view. We are responsible for our present condition. We are not at all interested for our upliftment. If we would not do well in future, no one can save us and in the words of Mullahs, we all would be awarded "Hell' by the Almighty, because Allah is for every human being and not only for Muslims.
