Really interesting legal question. It all centers on intent, which would be difficult to prove. If you hire the prostitute to have sex it is a crime. If you hire the prostitute as an actress in an amateur pornogrophy video, you may be technically not committing a crime. I am not advising trying this. There may be laws relating to making sexual videos and paying actors.
