I went through a divorce in May 2006. I still haven't received my divorce papers and all actions were supposed to be completed by October 1st. I still haven't received my divorce papers, so I can't take any legal actions because I don't have any proof. Should I contact the judge that tried the case to see if he can get the lawyers involved to finish this? Would it help?

For parking spaces (ie: supermarket or mall) When there is no divider or median or concrete 'log' in the way. I was recently (by a citizen) told that the law is that you can't drive THROUGH to be facing out to park (of two 'face to face' spaces).
True or not?

I had a personal loan given to me 13 years ago. In the mean time I had a financial hardship and stopped making payments to them and had since forgotten I owed them this money. Just the other day I got a phone call asking for a payment plan. I am just making ends meet the way it is now. Can they legally come after me after 13 years of no contact from them? They have never sent me a bill or contacted me till now. After so many years isn't it a given that debts like these need to be forgiven?

In the middle of your case. Yet, they "just forget to mention the new firms name" in their letter to you, but state they will no longer be able to represent you.

Should you sue for your money back that you put down as a retainer and all money that has been paid to this attorney.

I study law in university and i'll graduate in 3 months from now. I like to become a judge, but in my country (Iran), women should not be a judge. we can only be a lawyer. even my teachers do not have any logical reason for my question, they only say," because our legal system is based on Islam".What's your idea?

they are the standard papers to put the house in my mother's name. It doesn't say much. Just that they give her permission to sell the house or blah blah blah, her attorney told her that is the sis does not want to sign there is another way of doing it, but could not tell her at this point, do you know what other way it could be done?

It's been around for one hell of a long time and lets face it, it's never going to go away. Look at amsterdam, it's legal there and it works, it's safer and it get's rid of need for pimps. If it's legal they get taxed and that money goes back into a country. Most city's turn a blind eye to it anyway and have "safe zones" so lets go the whole hog and make it legal. It seems like this country is just trying to ignore it and brush it under the carpet instead of dealing with it.

I live in Pasco County FL where a stripper can be arrested for prostitution for being naked. Prostitution itself is illegal in most of the USA as we all know. We see in the news where Mark Foley, a Republican from FL is in rehab now for who knows what against a boy page. And we almost see dailly or hourly of kids being targets of adult sex predators. Is it time we stop making it illegal for adults to consentingly get together? If we make prostitution legal we might get these sick bastards away from kids and make the adies of the night safer, cleaner (diseases), taxable.

Should you be able to vote for laws at legal age?

Obviously nobody knows all the law anymore

people break obscure laws every minute

usually without ever knowing

do we always need to be criminals of one type or another

by antiquated laws of foolish ones that get broken by the majority the majority of the time.

Should we be able to vote for current laws or continue to uphold laws that are maintained but ignored not known or enforced.

Couldn't we be more law abiding if we knew more of the laws and there were less but more meaningful ones to know.

If we voted for laws they would reflect our current national regional local situations the antiquated or major population criminalizers might not be so valid decades after they were created.

If only 10% feel a law should exist, should it
if 75/25 do should it
if 50/50
if 90 % ?

Discard review uphold add according to the people governed by the laws for the people.

Okay, from Mike Wallace's 60 minutes, Woodward says Bush will never withdraw from Iraq even if Laura and Barney are the only supporters of the war.

Now, the president is so firm on his policy.

Is there any law in the U.S. constitution that when the president is going wrong way, the citizens or the congress vote to stop him?

In other words, can we or the congress persons vote to withdraw, despite the president's insistance?

Or the president has the supreme power over the policy and there isn't anything we can do until he completes his presidence?

What are the ways to get out of Iraq, while Bush is still on the chair?
