I'm an intermediate speaker. Should i take the time to be fluent. Would it really matter?

I'm not an attorney, but I've hired quite a few.

Fluency in Spanish would indeed be a plus. However, any conversancy in another language on any level that is common in the US is a plus.

Yes and another language as well we are in a bi-lingual nation.

well if your working for clients who speak spanish than no it would be ok. But if you dont know english well than how will you communicate with clients?

yes your clientele base would more then triple it would be very wise to be fluent.
