the father is threatening to take the child away, or at least take 50% once the child is born, and he's totally unfit. Can I do anything legally to prevent this prior to the birth? I'm 7 months right now. We live in California

They've added over $8,000 in "fees" in just a couple short months because I can't afford to pay. Is this just another example of the government ripping off the ordinary people who have no money? This is not for taxes either.

people would not be educated, teachers would lose jobs, and only the rich and upper middle class would be able to afford to send their child to private school. Crime rate would increase, and we would be in a mess, so why the mumbo jumbo???

Some hours ago I submitted a plea on behalf of myself and people like me who suffer from lazyism; (see Laws and Ethics}
Asking for support from people who move about all the time,
for help with a campaign which ,if successful, would help bring about some fairness in the workplace.
Unfortunately ,I t seems that the majority of you are , to say the least, unsympathetic.
It took me quite some time to put that appeal to you,the people,
and it certainly took a great effort mentaly and physically (my fingertips are still sore due to all the typing.
Somebody ,Ithink it was DB. advised me to get off my backside and start my own campaign.
This attitude epitomises the lack of understanding of lazy bastards like myself.
We the L.B.F.J (lazy bastards for justice) do try to make progress but ,as you must understand , we lack the will, energy and motivation.
Please read my earlier appeal and Help us.
I have a lot more to say,but I'm too tired.
Thank you

The whole world is reeling under terrorism and the people who are suffering are the harmless common man. What has brought about this terrorism and why can it not be controlled?Just because of a few fanatics a whole community comes under social ostracism. Is it fair. The politicians play their dirty game and enjoy more power but the poor, harmless people have to pay the price for this. Why not all unite and fight it out without prejudice and bias?

equipped and run like 3* hotels.
I was having a drink yesterday lunchtime and spoke with an "ex-con" He told me how the prisons are no deterrent, colour televisions, computer games, a wide range of recreational facilities. Do you think we should "Get Tough", "Get back to Basics" and make prison life a deterrant?

An estimated 500 prisoners in Guantanamo.
Only 10 (yes, ten) charged.
490 remaining prisoners not proven guilty of any crime.

Who is America trying to fool? They're only fooling themselves, pretending that the Bush regime is necessary for world safety? And now the Congress has agreed to Bush' suggestion to allow the prisoners in Guantanamo (and other more or less secret US prisons around the world) to be treated outside of the law. What are laws for? Aren't they supposed to be valid for everyone? Presidents do not have the right to act outside of the law. Bush is none better than Hitler himself. He is absolutely NOT indispensable for the world's safety. In fact, he is the biggest threat to world safety since a meteore whiped out the dinosaurs. When will the American people throw him off his throne? How long will they continue to accept his lies? When is it that the world will finally see Bush's heinous face behind bars?

With all the things that are happening in our schools lattly, it seems the "kid" never got discipline at home. It doesen't seem that they even know what is right and wrong any more. I got spanked when I was growing up. I also got molested when I was a small girl, I'm not a "bad Seed" I've never done any thing leagly wrong. I've always stayed out of truble. Why? I was more afraied of my dad then police!!! What the F*** is wrong with society when you CAN'T disapline your kids anymore?

All we hear is the bad news. People think everyone is bad, and people are so suspicious of everyone's actions. Even if someone does something good for others, people will still think that the person would have alternative motives. What do you think about that?
