I'm not in favor of death penalty, but given that it's a legal figure and until they abolish it everywhere, isn't the guillotine a cheap, equalizing and harmless way of killing, more than poisonous injections or the cruel electric chair?

there is a difference between promoting one religion over another and respecting the religion that helped began the country...i think if you do not see the difference you are just blinded with hatred toward religion...i think the systimatic rape of Christianity from liberals needs to come to a stop...what happened to tolerance and respect for others that liberals demand but never give.
when they mention God in the Constitution and other documents it does NOT refer to Allah, Budda, or any other religious God other than the Judeo-Christian God...there were no muslims, buddists, etc...there were however Christian religious groups who disagreed on how to worship and serve God. what is wrong with the 10 commandments in front of the court house...if you don't like it you don't have to read it...no one forces you to read it...when did the offensiveness of 1% become more important of the 99% who don't care it is there...what happen to respecting American culture and it heritage...

What are some problems with civil disobedience? Can you connect theories from Threau and King Jr with this, with support information? What exactly is civil disobedience, it's too broad of a word.

What if you loan someone money or co-sign for a loan they never pay back, and you take them to court for it, and you win, but they have no money? If the loan is on your credit, but in both names, does it come off? Or what if someone stopped paying rent and you had to break the lease, and now that is on your credit? Does winning a civil court case relieve you of your negatively affected credit? Do they transfer the debt to the other person, or what happens?

It is NOT conservatives who ban them from public places.
Even if you are NOT religious, aren't they good laws for mankind to follow?

Thou shalt not kill
Thou shalt not lie (bear false witness)
Thou shalt not steal
Honor your Father and Mother

I can't see anything wrong with that...

I keep getting harrassed by this company looking for my brother in law. They call the house sometimes up to six times a day looking for him, I tell them he doesn't live here and he has no phone. But still an hour later they are calling again. When I told them that I couldn't give him the message the woman called me rude and I didn't have no right talking to her like that. It is frustrating because when I tried to make them leave me alone I was treated like garbage and I personally have great credit. My husband doesn't want to change the phone number but I am afraid I am going to have to anyway. Is there something else that we can do about this?

My 6 wks of maternity leave are nearly over, but I need more time before I go back. My union steward told me I don't have the 1250 hours worked that's required to take the leave. I can't go back, I work the night shift and still haven't been able to find childcare in my area that stays open late. Also, I want my new daughter to be older than just 6 weeks before I leave her in childcare. I don't have the seniority to go to the day shift. Are there any other options? Do I have rights to reapply for hire if I'm fired?

Does sexual harassment, discrimination or abuse based on sex, age, religion, origin, etc. have to be proven in order to support a charge of a Hostile working environment? I am under the impression showing continued and significant harassment or undue intimidation resulting in degraded performance and subsequent loss of pay is also considered hostile work place. Right or wrong?
