Should not be a problem, most lawyers have a learning disability and the rest are retarded.

They're all idiots anyway, he'll probably be a better lawyer than 3/4's of the ones that are practicing now!
How bad a learning disability could he have with a 3.4? Good for him! Tell him to apply to all of them and go for it. Be honest on the aps and tell them with an essay how he's overcome his problem, I bet he gets accepted at half of them.
The bar exam is tough, a lot of the grads fail it the first time, but pass the second time. Some states are harder than others, too. He'll get the down low on that in law school, it'll be fine. Good luck.

with a 3.4 GPA all your friend needs to do is what he has been doing to maintain it. It is possible that it may take a little longer, but he can do it.
Could he get into a decent law school and possibly pass the bar exam? I see no problem
How hard is the exam and classes? hard for some easier for others.

It's difficult, but it all depends on the type of learning disability.
There were several students in my law school classes that had learning disabilities, and some of them passed the bar, so it can be done. It's a long hard process, and your friend will probably have to work harder than many other students. But it can be done.
Wish him luck.

Your friend has a goal.. I have no doubt that he will succeed.
Things may or may not take a bit longer to comprehend.. and if he gets into a good study group, or one on one with a tutor.. that would even help more.
Don't burst your friends dream, but encourage him. He's going to get enough opposition from others no doubt.
Start checking into law schools now, see what they require..
Your friend can narrow things down to which area of the law he's looking at, and focus there.. corporations, defense, etc..
He won't fail, if he takes the first step..
he'll only fail if he doesn't.
