REID: (after admitting his guilt and allegiance to Osama Bin Laden) "allegiance to Osama Bin Laden, to Islam, and the religion of Allah, I think I will not appologize for my actions, I am at war with your country"
YOUNG: Let me explain this to you. We are not afraid of you or any of your terrorist co-conspirators, Mr. Reid. We are Americans.
You are not an enemy combatant. You are a terrorist. You are not a soldier at any war. You are a terrorist. To give you that referrence, to call you a soldier, gives you far too much stature.
In a very real sense, State Trooper Santiago had it right when you first were taken off the plane and into custody and you wondered where the press and where the TV crews were, and he said: "You are no big deal."
YOU are NO big deal. See that flag Mr. Reid? That is the flag of the USA. That flag stand for freedom and it always will.
Is this NOT an inspiring AMERICAN judge? Have you heard about this on the news?

The US is up in every one elses business, making sure all the worlds worst leaders are brought to justice for their evil deeds against humanity.
Don't you think it's about time the US was brought to justice for the genocide it commited against the indiginous peoples of the Americas?
They commited inexcusable crimes against these natives. Mass murders, rape, and torture. To mention only a few. Completely iradicating some indian tribes. They killed thousands by knowingly giving out smallpox contaminated blankets, and of course, we mustn't forget that at this time, most of the ones commiting the crimes, were european, or of direct european decent.

Let's say that I happened upon a liberal idiot rally held outside during the day. If I were able to comandeer a portable toilet cleaning truck with a full septic tank, drive it to the rally, kick on the pump and place it into reverse, thus spraying the crowd with the contents of the septic tank, would it be considered a felony?

I have to write an essay about a law I don't agree with. I know this happens a lot in cities like las vegas, where the casinos can force people, like those in trailer parks, to sell their land so the casinos can build on it. I need more information about the particulars of this law.

My grandma died 9 months ago. Everything in her estate has been sold and taken care of. The only thing we are waiting on is for Guardian life insurance to send us the check. Our lawyer says he calls Guardian once a week. And our lawyer said once he receives the check from Guardian he will send out the money to the 6 of us who are in the will. It seems to me that 9 months is an awfully long time to wait for the money.

Another side of the story is that my uncle is the estate trustee, and he is a very weathly man. So he could care less about how long it takes to receive the money, because he doesn't need it. For myself though I could really use the money, and i would like to call Guardian life insurance myself to find out where the money is, but I don't want to mess things up with me calling. if I called would it be ok or would that just slow things down even more?

I work in an office without the usual "Cars Parked here at owners risk - no liability accepted for any theft or damage" disclaimer sign displayed in the car park. I seem to remember from some law foundation course I did years ago that there is a duty of care involved in inviting people to park on your premises and that if you do not display a disclaimer you are liable. Can somone confirm or deny this please??

My neighbours upstairs have bare hardwood floors and thin rugs covering floorboards. This means I get loads of noise, which wakes me in the middle of the night and is quite disturbing and intrusive in the evenings and weekends too.

The lease specifies carpets with underlays must be fitted, and though I have written to the freeholders about this they have done nothing to force them to comply. The occupants are denying they're doing anything wrong, however went quiet when I showed them the lease.

Can I take action against the freeholders because of their negligence, or is it just a case of chasing them up until they do something ?

I would be very grateful if somebody else who has had this problem could give me some advice, as this is really starting to have a bad affect on me.

Why are they being tried in Iraq and not an International court such as the Hague where Milosovic is being tried for pretty much the same crimes?

Can they really expect to receive a fair trial now that the US govern Iraq and its courts?

is there a law protecting employees who have emotional problems from being fired?

I work in an office with an emotional wreck who is hooked on zanax and pain medication. She has scarey episodes caused by the level of her meds.

if any of us "normal" ones were to act the way that she does we would have been fired. but for some reason they keep her.

there has to be some logical explanation...
