I work in an office without the usual "Cars Parked here at owners risk - no liability accepted for any theft or damage" disclaimer sign displayed in the car park. I seem to remember from some law foundation course I did years ago that there is a duty of care involved in inviting people to park on your premises and that if you do not display a disclaimer you are liable. Can somone confirm or deny this please??

yes if there is negligence. this is a contract of adhesion. you did not have any rights in negotiating it. the sign puts you on notice they are not liable, but if they leave the keys in the open to be stolen, they will be.
