This is another case of people not knowing, so they post rubbish guesses.

The answer is absolutely, positively yes -- at least for major airlines. I have been told by other lawyers that they have arranged the transfer of accumulated air miles to a spouse or other heir. The airline may charge a fee; I think one lawyer said s/he was charged $50.

I would double check with the carrier you have the miles with. They have done some changes regarding the miles so are not transferable and others expire after a certain amount of time.

no..only good to the person issued to..if you have their number and password you can still issue tickets to others
