Does someone have a list or global map?

I know the United States is one of them; I'm looking for a list of all of them. And I'm talking about typical legal channels as set forth in each nation's laws, not bribery, etc.

"All of them" is incorrect. Most countries prohibit property ownership by foreigners. By "property" I am referring to land or real estate.

Most OECD countries allow foreigners to buy property freely. Switzerland and Denmark are notable exceptions, but even there a lot of property is freely purchasable, althugh perhaps only a single residence by foreigners.

Mexico is the most notorious exception in the Americas: there land has to be held via a fiduciary, a bank usually, when bought by foreigners.

Turkey is another special case.

Many US states had restrictions -- from Colonial times through the 19th Century -- on foreigners' ownership of land. This caused some problems regarding Americans who fled to Canada during the Revolution. And also inheritance by Europeans when Americans died.

There are still restrictions on purchase of some US land by foreigners -- agricultural land, mainly. California used to have laws against Japanese owning land. Some restrictions were declared unconstitutional years ago by the Supreme Court. As were laws against the teching of foreign languages in primary schools and other stupid, xenophobic state laws.

I have some data on this, and could probably draw up a chart if not a map. But who would pay me? So I won't.

In the U.S., as long as you are a homeowner, you never own your own property.
I classify it as leased, until the home is sold or forclosed (due to nonpayment of property taxes).
All facets of the government, have a good thing going on. No referendum....just straight out undocumented legal corruption.
