Drove without registration, insurance and license for a few years. Now that I'm law abiding I can't afford to pay what I acrued in fines in order to get my license.
Anyone know if there's something set up in the courts to allow a person to start over again with only a portion of old fines?
Seems in the court system you have to know what to ask for, they don't volunteer the info unless you know exactly what to ask for.

(NOT ALL) treat people who work with you and are not lawyers like they are gum on the bottom of your shoes? Do you really believe that just because you went to law school, you are better than everyone else? (I know this sounds mean, but some of you really tick me off with your noses stuck up in the air) The support you get from the rest of us, it seems to me, should be very important to you. Would you like to do all of the research, clerical work, errands etc. by yourself?

Dick and Jane are married with a house. Dick and Jane get divorced and she leaves the house and all debt associated with it to him. Dick pays off his house. Dick and Jane reconcile but never remarry. Dick uses the proceeds from sale of the old house to buy a new house with Jane. Jane contributes nothing financially. They sign the deed as Husband and Wife Community Property with right of survivorship. Jane stays a year or two and then runs off with the cableguy. Years go by and Jane never returns.
Admittedly Dick is an idiot. But can he do anything? Does Jane automatically get the house upon Dick's death? Can he sever the right of survivorship and leave at least half the house to his kids? Better yet can he remove her entirely from the deed in that they were not married (and signed that they were) and Jane contributed nothing into the purchase of the house? (Arizona is the hypothetical state by the way.)

Security informs Bob he has stolen something and tell him he must come with him to the security office or he will call the police. Bob insists he didn't steal anything, and walks out of the store.

What is the PRODUCT that is SHOP-LIFTED THE MOST, stolen the most in the UNITED STATES?
If you guessed Preparation H, hemorrhoidal cream, you would have guessed correctly. Americans are to embarrassed to purchase anal creams, so it topped the list of most stolen products in America last year in 2005. Wow?

I had no clue this would happen. I am trying to figure out what my liability is in this situation. I offered to help remove the tree and see what damages if any have occured, but my neighor says no way. He is emphatic about me paying to have it done. I offered to share the cost.....still no way. After offering several suggestions to right the situation I am now pissed off he is being so stubborn. Do I have liability do pay?

Most states require certain occupations to meet training requirements, be licensed, and maintain specific standards. Managers in the work place have far more means of destroying a person’s income, family and quality of life through poor management. Why do states not require managers to be licensed and held to a professional standard?

I just ended my job last Friday, having given two weeks notice and everything in the proper manner. When I went to pick up my final paycheck today, my boss told me that he was only paying me for two days, rather than the five that I physically worked, during my last week there. He said this is because I took three days of vacation back a few months ago, which in his eyes were not earned because I had only been there 6 months.
My question: Is this legal? It is a small business, with only 2 employees. The vacation period of 5 days was granted for the first year of employment. There was no stipulation as to how long you had to be employed by him to recieve the vacation pay. After my vacation of three days, I was paid, no questions asked, and he did not object to my paid vacation at the time when I asked. I do not find this fair.
