Drove without registration, insurance and license for a few years. Now that I'm law abiding I can't afford to pay what I acrued in fines in order to get my license.
Anyone know if there's something set up in the courts to allow a person to start over again with only a portion of old fines?
Seems in the court system you have to know what to ask for, they don't volunteer the info unless you know exactly what to ask for.

If you go to traffic court they usually lower the fines for you, for the most part. Just give your name and they will pull up your tickets and the traffic judge my work something out for you. Good luck.

In maximum jurisdicitions a court docket appointed lawyer isn't appropriate to misdemeanors. in case you elect, notwithstanding, touch you community court docket and see in case you will get an company quantity so you might touch. If no longer something, confirm to invite the opt to state for sure the accessible effects till now you plea. As for proving the officer incorrect, good success. the only difficulty i understand of is to confirm the calibration try grew to become into finished on the kit and that the officer is qualified on that paticular radar detection gadget. for sure, confirm to bypass to court docket. If no longer, you're calling me from detention center.

eventually, you will be picked up on a warrant. there will be more court cost and another day in court. but you will be fine; won't cost you a dime. just do the time. about five days or forty hours of community service. but more likely they will just seize your tax refund...
