ok the person that going against me didnt show up for the motion, is that why it was withdrawn.

It depends on what your motion was for. Basically, tell yourself what the motion was for and then reverse it and there is your answer.

The have computers in jail/prison?

When you say your motion was dropped, that usually means your motion was either withdrawn or the court ruled against you. That wouldn't have any effect on your status.

But it all depends on the details, and these are questions best answered by your attorney.

No. If your motion is dropped, it means your motion has not been granted. You/your lawyer has decided not to pursue this particular motion.

When your motion is denied, the judge has said no to your motion, and if it's granted, the judge has allowed and/or agreed to your motion.
