my attorney had brought up he had been employeed along with Luci Clesson and they worked under the same management on an every day basis. Now Mrs Clesson is employed with theZenith corperation, and she is the only person i had contact with from a Workers Compensation claims handler untill I contacted an attorney. And not only that he has treated me with no desency, hanging up on me on 2 occasions, both arrising from me personally calling him with a question, or trying to get a once a month update is a problem. I ask why would you hire an attorney so you could feel like you had another person to intimidate you, so he can hang up on you after saying " and I dont have nothing else to say to you". Why is he intiteled to anything for his absolute unjustified actions and what can i do? Nobody cares about the treatment that will best help my recovery, but everybory has

Former Yukos banker Igor Babenko (related with Khodorkovsky case) seeks political asylum in Lithuania, while Russia seeks his extradition to Russia. Media reported that Viktor Uspaskich, former leader of Lithuanian Labour Party, may seek political asylum in Russia, where he is lately. Mr. Sadeckas, Chairman of National Security and Defence Committe of Lithuania speculated during evening TV news on Sunday (Lithuanian TV3) that the issue of Uspaskih extradition to Lithuania may be solved making exchange Uspaskich/Babenko.

I am not expert in such issues, but I got a strange feeling that such things are not normal. I heard that exchange of spys happens, but these above mentioned persons are not accused in spying ... Is it common practice in the world to solve refugee status and extradition in this way?

Some months like July 2006 have 5 weekends, and some like August have 4 weekends, September has 4 weekends and a spare Saturday, October has a spare Sunday, counting September and October together, there are 9 weekends. Is it defined anywhere which month has 4 weekends and which has five? My question stems from a court ruling which states that my children are with me for the 1st and 3rd weekend of the month and if there is one, they are with me on the 5th weekend.

Do you think everyone should be tagged and processed so we can be safe knowing where everyone is? Would having a tag or chip violate yours or others rights (reguardless of wether someone has something to hide)? Does it go against your religious beliefs? The day will come (unfortunately). Las time I posted a legal question here almost everyone was wrong. So please only answer if you can help. Thank you!! Anyway I had a case this spring which I pleaded not guilty to and the state dismissed it with out prejudice. Unfortunatley I still owe my defense lawyer $250. He has given me a few exstentions, and Im trying to pay him back. Im three months late with the payment. Now he is saying if I dont pay him, he will call the states attorney general and have the case reinstated. Can he do this? I already pleaded not guilty and the court dismissed the charge. I no lawyers dont work for free, why would he want me to be charged with the same charge he defended? Do I need another lawyer?
He says this is his legal right to do this, is this true? Thank you!

My old roommate on the day I was moving out closed my cat in the garage door. My cat went unnoticed in the garage door by said roommate and was rescued by a neighbor. Long story short my cat had to have his back leg and tail amputated. This ran up almost $1600 in vet bills. Can I sue for these vet bills in small claims court in the state of Ohio. I am hearing that the cat will be assessed as property and will be give a cap on his worth. I understand it is not a human but I could not put the cat down and now would like to re coop some of my cost. Due to another court battle I have a signed official document from the court in a different county then I will be suing in where he admits to causing the damage to the cat but says it was not due to his negligence.

I was recently evicted from my apartment because I was one month behind on my rent. (Due to having a baby by emergency c section 2 weeks earlier then planned) My landlord is a prick and pretty much dosen't like me because I refused to pay an increase in my rent for water usage which was included in my lease as the landlords responsibilty. Anyways I moved out and went to court. The Landlords told the judge that I had moved out and left the place dirty and stole their washer and dryer, and left my old ones there. I did NOT steal theirs, I left their old junky ones there and took my own with me. I do not have recepits of them, because the washer was bought with a credit card and its been more then 4 years and the credit card company said they cant pull up that transaction from that long ago. And the dryer was purchased used from a yard sale. Do you have any tips on what I can do to win this case? And what will happen if I do loose? Thanks for any advice and help in advance!

my daughters ex boyfriend just got out of prison and is trying very hard to find out where she is. they do have a baby together, but considering that he tried to kill the baby while my daughter was still pregnant, we dont feel like he should get regular visitation rights. we have agreed to supervised visitation.

he cant find out where she is living so he wrote a letter to the court saying all kinds of lies. he said that she was living with me, which is not true. he said that he doesnt feel that he should have to pay child support. he also said that my 10 year old daughter had been caught at school with a marijuana cigarette.

not only did he write this to the court, but he is also going all over telling this obscene lie. what can we do to stop him from running his mouth and making an innocent child a victim because we live in a very small town and people do tend to talk.

should we see another attorney other than the one that is handling the custody and child support?

The law clearly states that congress establishes the law so where is the law that stipulates we must pay taxes on our incomes ?

note : congress has never establishes any law that says we must pay it . if anyone can help me find it id be grateful .

I am in a criminal justice class, and for extra credit i have to explain how restitution works. Ex. how the victim gets the money and who gives the money to the victim. Does the state collect the entire amount and then give it to the victim.ext.ext.

I was stopped at a red light and it turned green and proceeded to drive my car. As I was going someone crashed right into me. Now the cop filed the police report all wrong and wrote that I was the one that crashed into him. He didnt even look at my car and missed a lot of the spots that the damage was on. Everytime I went to the officer to talk to him he would ignore me and move to the other side of the other guys car. He didnt even listen to a word that I was saying. I even have a witness that saw the accident and the cop didnt even take that into account. He didnt even talk to my witness.

Also, the person that crashed into my car is saying that he had a green light. When there is a witness that saw my green light. I only have liability and my car has about $6000 worth of damage. What should I do at this point? I filed a claim with his insurance company and they said they will talk to him and get back to me? What should I do? This happened in Chicago.....

My husband's credit report states he owes a creditor $300. We've disputed the debt three times via Transunion, Eq and Ex. All three were validated. We've sent three certified letters requesting validation, and one requesting a payment address, etc. We have also called over 50 times and left numerous messages, which aren't returned. It seems like they only respond to one of the three credit bureaus, who tell me to keep trying. I can't remove it, I can't pay it. Now what???

My toilet overflowed because the stem broke, and it couldn't shut off. It flooded for 30 minutes before I noticed and it soaked all of the carpets and the downstairs ceiling. I had had problems with two out of three toilets, only one was working at the time of the flood. The landlord was not willing to put me up in a hotel and she left me to stay in the flooded house for 2 days before even coming to look at the place. It had a stench like mildew and I was concerend about the welfare of my two children. I opted to move out with an agreement that she would not keep my security deposit, well guess what ,she did and some. So I sued her for my deposit and now, 7 days before the court date she is counter-suing me for all repairs and a dang screen for the window---

don't make fun, I used number because there was no enough space to type it all.I hope everyone that will read my question is an open-minded and an educated person. and I'm really feeling comfortable for being anonymous in this website so that I or any member of my family woundn't get hurt, but even though I'm still a little afraid of asking this question because I know I'll get lots of threatening messages and stuff like that.ok I'll get to my question.I'm a muslim and I want to change my religion,I've never been convinced in my religion,I'm just muslim because my parents are,that's it.I want to become a theist,the real meaning of theist is believing in one or more gods and it's not necessary that you belong to a particular religion.that's what I've learned about theism,but even if that is not the real definision of theism I still want to change my religion,I want to have no particular religion,I just want to believe in god and I want to know what I should do in order to do that.

I am leaving Indiana on my own concious to clear a felony warrant up. Of course I am guilty, the charge is Grand Larceny in the amount of $1200. I stole a 540 piece toolset from sears in a mall, true I left the store with the product, but not the mall. The toolset was recovered 25 feet from the entrance. They claim to have videotape, so this is why I am pleading guilty. Also, will my 400 plus hours of verified volunteer service in New Orleans help when a sentence is handed down. Now also I am not wanting to be put on probation, I cant be on probation because I am going to be a truck driver as soon as this is cleared, I just want to serve my time.
Its my first offense. Im 21
