my attorney had brought up he had been employeed along with Luci Clesson and they worked under the same management on an every day basis. Now Mrs Clesson is employed with theZenith corperation, and she is the only person i had contact with from a Workers Compensation claims handler untill I contacted an attorney. And not only that he has treated me with no desency, hanging up on me on 2 occasions, both arrising from me personally calling him with a question, or trying to get a once a month update is a problem. I ask why would you hire an attorney so you could feel like you had another person to intimidate you, so he can hang up on you after saying " and I dont have nothing else to say to you". Why is he intiteled to anything for his absolute unjustified actions and what can i do? Nobody cares about the treatment that will best help my recovery, but everybory has

The key here is you HIRED the attorney to represent you. If you do not believe he is doing a good job, fire him and get another attorney. You will owe him, however, for the work he has put in on your case. Should you continue to use him, and he wins your case, the 15% is a small sum to pay and not unusual. As for the attorney having been employed by the same company that employed the other person, it should not matter and is not a conflict of interest. However, if the attorney is allowing that fact to influence how he represents you to your detriment, I say again, fire him.

Jerry (above) is correct.

Let me also add that as annoying as the attorney may be, calling him and demanding updates when he has no information is also annoying to the attorney. Now, granted, you are paying him, and as part of that payment, you should at least get courtesy.

But there may not be be anything happening in your case, and your calls may be interrupting him during high-stress times when he cannot afford to be distracted.

The bottom line is that if you don't like the services he is providing, you have every right to get a new attorney. You still have to pay him for the actual work he has done, however.
