Hunting or fishing, ehy, if its for food, great, but also use it to relax and enjoy. Dont kill for the sake of killing. I love to hunt and eat or give to people who eat that game, the food. It doesnt go to waste.

A deer steak, Dove gumbo, what ever, its all good.

I only hunt when I am being hunted.I never had to kill to eat, though I would certainly would have to have a desperate need of food to hunt. Some large predators actually will stalk you in the woods and that is more like killing in self defense or self preservation. Otherwise it is live and let live for me, I have outgrown my cave man instincts after watching the dying eyes of many of my my victims.
If you need a Cadillac or a shotgun to feel more like a man, I understand. And please read your second amendment,I don't think it has anything to do with hunting.

Well my friend bought a deer rifle and went hunting last year. All he got was some farmer's cow that got out of the pasture. What a racket and bloody mess that was.

So now my friend is into fishing. We'll see how that works out for him. He'll probably hook a shark and get pulled overboard.

Right now I am Job Hunting. It seems to be a little tricky to get into that sport. You have to go through special schools and all that, wear the right clothes, and have a hair cut. I suspect that the hair cut will hurt me the most.

I don't hunt, but I love to fish for the food and competition of the sport. By the way, what is a granola?

I have been hunting since I was very young and quickly killed my first deer. It is a family thing so I have grown up with it. We always eat what we kill (pretty much deer and turkey in the Southern US). We always hunt responsibly, and personally I have let many deer leave my sights just to have seen them. I switch from my camera to my hunting tool of choice for that great kill when they come. I have more pictures than hams.

Because I like to eat and I like the sport.

I think the "tree huggers" need to realize that hunting is a "necessary evil". In WI we are dealing with deer that are dying because of CWD (Cronic Waste Disease). It affects their brains, killing them due to over population. It is a disease that passes in large groups (herds) of deer. The herds have gotten so big, the disease is beginning to affect and kill more of them than the hunters.

Believe it or not, hunting is a part of the natural selection of things. Humans are animals, and like other animals, we must hunt and kill to eat. I don't see anyone protesting the Lions when they kill the zebras. Why is that?

I hunt because you can NOT get higher quality meat, nor is there a better way to avoid all the steroids and antibiotics that are pumped into livestock. Also, when I hunt, I can supply my meat for a full year with ONE hunting trip....it's very economical.

i don't hunt, but my uncles do. they like venison...and its a weeklong brother bonding session....they don't live close anymore and this is a tradition for them.

p.s. did you know that the 2nd amendment originally did not mean the same thing we interpret it as meaning today?
isn't it kinda cool that the constitution was written in such a way that it can be interpreted to stretch and fit the times?

I personally have only killed coyotes and a fox, but the coyotes killed three of our lambs and the fox killed our chickens. The men all hunt for food, venison, wild turkey and yes squirrel. They eat them, there good, nuff said.
