hi,
i work in retail store, and my team manager for some reason treats me badly. I am a muslim born and bred in the uk but for some reason she gives white people the better job and puts us asian people on till. If she doesn`t like us she will talk behind our back in the staff canteen. The people she talks too are her white colleagues she even called a chinese girl i work with ping pong. Too her it may not matter but that chinese girl is a nice person. When ever she is in the staff canteen she talks about people behind there back. i have seen her do this several times and i get annoying because it isn`t right. She is meant to be a team manager and treating everyone fairly and with respect. I am 21 years off age and she is about 55. Is there anything i can do? as she is discrimanating asian people. I don`t feel like going to work anymore because i feel she talks behind my back. xx

The Nevada Pot laws are not working. Why not allow the Gov. to regulate and take dollars away from drug dealers. Mega Taxes just like cigs. Must be licensed to manufacture and distribute. 21 year olds ONLY can enter the retailer. Public laws reamin the same along with operating on alch - DRUGS. They are asking to double the fines and penalties for non-comformation and illegal growing, possesing.

I have this job, that i actually love. unfortunately i keep getting blamed for the owner's errors as he will never admit to his mistakes. Accounting gets on my case and gives me an attitude. We hired a new girl to take up some of the slack since pregnancy has taken an emotional toll on my usually perfect job performace. She is making a few errors which are not so much a big deal since there is a learning curve and procedures are constantly changing within the office. But in thinking i am the one making the errors, i am blamed and am told that my job preformance is not acceptable. I am keeping a log of all my duties throughout the day which i have been doing since i was given a "last formal warning". i'm still confused about when i received my first formal warning.

Im a student at U of milwaukee and i threw a kegger which got busted friday. Because there were more than 50 people at this party, (86 and we were just getting started) and i was "accepting donations" they took the kegs, the money, and they left me with a noise violation ($234) and distributing alcohol w/o licence ($997). I have surrendered my BSNL, Calcutta Telephones connection and the instrument as well.
I applied for the refund of Rs.4500/- deposite money for the telephone on 18/8/2006 along with
necessary documents. Despite my several requests the BSNL, Calcutta Telephones official tersely
denied to mention how long it is going to take to get the refund. This appeared to me very strange.

However he told me that there was nothing wrong with my papers.
Now it is well over a month since I applied for the refund.
My question is should it take so long to get the refund. If so how long? It can't be indefinite?

How much should I get as refund considering I applied for the telephone connection along with the deposit money on October-1997 and got my connection on January-98.

Our restroom at work is filthy all the time!! There is always urine on the floor, used toilet paper in the trash (some people at work don't flush their used tissue after wiping their butts), ashes from smoking all over and very filthy toilets. As a woman, I have to hover over the toilet because I don't feel safe to even put down a seat cover. If I need to actually sit, then I go up to the front office restroom wich is a little cleaner. The restroom closest to me is shared by about 75 employees. I can't seem to find anything on OSHA that requires them to keep them clean. Can someone please help me or point me in the right direction?

our neighbor burned some leaves, sticks, etc. in the ditch behind our house almost on the property line (we are not sure exactly where it is) but the tree where he burned died and is leaning toward the fence he just put up. Taken the tree is on our side of the line, if it falls on his fence who is responsible even though he killed the tree by burning it? (when he was burning it I joked with him about how he was going to kill it.) I can call an attorney for advice, but the offices are closed now. but if anyone knows anything about this let me know. Thanks

If the jury finds a man guilty,(no offense) they're only regular people with maybe NO studies of law & justice whatsoever, and the judge does not agree with that decision, can he overule and say he's innocent? If the jury decides on a man's fate, what's the point of a judge being there?

It is time we started wars to kill people and decline the amount of pollution and waste. First we should kill those with low standard of living because if they die they loose less. Think about it mathimatically if death = 0, living in the West = 100, living in a country like China = 27.25. Then who should die. The one with the lowest standard of living points as they would only loose 27.25 and the marginal loss of death would be less than for someone from the West. Just wait until we get a little more crowded it will happen

I've been trying for 8 mos to get them to correct a billing issue where their customer svc. people agrees that it's their fault. Each time I call I'm on the phone for at least 1 1/2 hours. It's going to the point where going to court is the best way to resolve the issue at once.
