Just spent some time at moraloutrage.net and had to ask yahooligans the above question. If it's consensual, should it be criminal? Are we letting the government go to far in telling us what we can do with our bodies?

Note: I'm not referring to pedophilia by any means.

I would rather be on the road next to someone smoking than with someone that has been drinking. Drinking causes anger and deadly fights. I just dont get how one could be legal and the other illegal!

look at this site...http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15020846/?GT1=8506

so now they are banning things like this? they make us wear seatbelts(which i do and i understand the need for a law for minors to wear them) the list goes on and on....how can they make laws on stuff like this, if people want to make themselves fat then let them. It is not the governments place to tell us what to eat and not eat. Even though i agree that people are way too over weight i dont agree that our government should tell us what we can and cannot not eat!

Very interesting last night to see Bush spouting that the National Security Agency report from last spring had been misunderstood and taken out of context.
Ten minutes later BBC in Washington display a copy of the report and read from it verbatim.

Guess it all depends on what your definition of "is" is...

You'd think with $30million being spent on Whitehouse speech writers every year, at least one of them could have read it to George, maybe showed him the pictures?

i understand all candidates will be subject to Criminal Records Bureau checks along with other relevant employment checks-but what i want to know is would a conditional discharge over 10yrs ago for possession of drugs, covictions a long time ago for not having tv license and more recently a conviction for my troubled teen not attending school reg. be enough to stop me working in a school with my children? im certainly not a danger to anyone! my son keeps asking me to go into school and help like other parents do- if im turned down, can i appeal.?

For me, it would be covering the feet with oil and then burning them slowly. I hear that the flesh burns away and the bones start falling out, and this happens while you are awake and you feel it.

What would be the worst kind of torture for you?

I'm tired of seeing college towns like Provo in Republican states like Utah go 80% Democrat. This is all due to the illegal liberal idoctrination that taxpayer-funded professors give. Columbus, OH, Bloomington, IN the list goes on and on.

Businesses can't sell "unhealthy merchandise to schools", restaurant health officials are thinking of enforcing "no serving trans fat in restaurants", children aren't supposed to bring unhealthy such as candy snacks to school, the whole thing with no 'gays', newer travel regulations and much more. What's gonna happen next, WWIII? I mean, when this country started out, it was supposed to allow almost total freedom; is that being flushed down the drain by our current government?

Here's why I ask. Bicycles are considered vehicles of the road, thereby achieving the same rights as motorized vehicles, but also subjected to the same rules. Motorized vehicles are required to stop for pedestrians in the crosswalk, however most cyclists just blaze on through, often times nearly hitting pedestrians. Hence, if I'm in the crosswalk and a cyclist refuses to stop for me, can I stiff-arm the sucker off of his bike?

The SA government implemented this policy in order to take rascism out of business yet this excludes many white students leaving instituitions from getting jobs. Is this not contradictory?

I would like to know why people think abortions are so terrible. They prevent mothers from ruining their lives. If a couple makes a mistake and the female becomes pregnant...well she has way more eggs than she will ever need right? So she might need an abortion to prevent her and her husband/boyfriend from opening up a whole new chapter in their lives that they were not ready for. I realize cautions should be taken to prevent this in the first place, but if it happens it happens. Especially in rape cases, abortions are often used if the woman is impregnated. After her abortion, she can have a child when she is actually ready for one. No sense bringing an unwanted child into the world, when you could have one later in life when you're truly ready.
Your thoughts?
