Here's what I've been told since a child:
IF YOU ARE NOT WEARING A UNIFORM, THE PEOPLE WHO CAPTURE YOU CAN DO WITH YOU WHATEVER THEY WANT!!!!!!!
German spies were always just killed at time of capture by all the allies.
PERIOD!!!!!!!!
But, that was before the Democrats started supporting the enemies. Things have changed.
