My son is 15. He's alone every day from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Daddy has NO RULES. I have rules. We have family outings, spend time together & talk over dinner.
When I had full costody, my son went to his dad's NOT only on scheduled weekends but I allowed extra time long weekends, more than 3 weeks in summer, x-tra days on holidays...
My son has been with "dad" since May.I have had him in my home 5 DAYS since May. He called last night saying "I'm not coming & will call the cops on you!" He has been brainwashed and bribed into hating me and his little sister. "dad"has criminal charges pending for "interfering w/parenting plan" Told my son NOT to come on my first visit, 5 DAYS after the court order was filed! Since then my son has refused to answer the phone, I've had to send the police out 4 times to check on him after NO contact for 6 or more days! I'm going tonight w/court order. Any clue what I'm in for?

When reading a text book it clearly states numerous of times that Comubus found America. From prior knowledge as well as study on the subject I learened that Natives were here first. Now, to me it seems that it's impossible to discover something that has already been inhabbited. We also have the habbit of callin Native Americans's, Indians. Columbus gave Natvie Americans that name becasue they reminded him of people from India. I want your opinions. Is America built on a lie? Please no rude remarks.

Is is the total household income, the income of the parent, the environment or area that they live in, the intellegence of the parent, the school's overall rating by the board of education, or something else? My child's father and I live two hours away from one another and I'm scared that he will win the right to put her in a school of his choice. We both have shared legal and physical custody, and both of us have been following all of the courts rules, but I'm still worried that he will get his way and make her go to a school in his neighborhood. If he does, she will only get to see her step brother and me every other weekend untill she is grown. Some background on us....I have a associates degree in child education, he is a forman for a sub contracting company for Delaware county, I earn less income than he does, he is planning on moving in with a guy friend and that person's kid. I own my home in the country. Please, only advise if you know the answer for sure. Thank you so much.

I understand the possibilty of this occurring is slim to none, but suppose couple is on a cruise and they have an early pregnancy, and it happens to occur in "No-Man's Land" or something of this nature. Just curious of what the law dictates? Infant take the citizenship of the parents???

Is this legal?

I filled out a cashiers check to purcase a rv that was under priced and told the man who I was in business with to put it in my name and company name.
He got it and we used it at work and stuff,we had a falling out and i wanted to sell he tell's me i have no say in it.
I run the cashiers check backtracking to find the company that sold it and on the check beside my name as purchaser he put
/his name.

To my knowledge the rv is in his name only.
So question is....can he legally alter my check without my approval?
And what options do I have?

A Long Island congressman says certain nationalities should undergo extra screening at airports ... those who are of middle eastern & south asian decent.

88% of the people who were polled about this answered "yes" and that they should be screened.

How many people think "Yes", they should be screened or "No", they shouldn't.

My opinion ... EVERY one should go through extra screening.

I am so sick of the violence i hear on the news nowdays. More people are being murdered and it seems as though these criminals have no remorse about it. They are not concerned about being caught because they do it more often even in day light. I think the government needs to enforce firmer laws with these scum bags. The law should be that if someone kills another person whether it be second or first degree, that person should be automatcially sentenced to death in the same way they killed their victim. Maybe that would hinder these criminals from doing what they are doing and put fright in them. The same go for rapists and child molesters. They should be secluded in their own community amongst themselves forever. Not a prison exactly but maybe a town just for them where they have no contact with the public, EVER. Not even their family. They loose all their rights as a human being. I can go on but if the government had these laws, do you think crime would reduce?

A girl I work with was written up for not attending a mandatory meeting that she was on her way to but got stuck in traffic. My supervisor told me to "smarten up" with my work when she thought I didn't do the windows. She told me they had people lined up for the job.She said another girl would get into trouble for not answerin her phone when she called.Whenever she calls me she sounds like she is threatening me and I feel like I'm being harassed by her.She keeps switching what her excuse is for different situations. She makes it seem as though I will get into trouble for missing one little spot in my cleaning. She said I was getting a verbal warning for not picking the white paint chips off the mauve baseboards, which she never told me to do anyway.I talked to the manager and he said he couldn't do anything about the way she acts unless we confront her in a meeting together.I wanted it to be anonymous.I come home crying all the time and want to just quit, but I need the $.What can I do?
