Like if the driver was driving the kids to school in the morning and was speeding because he didn't want the kids to be late, could he be cited for that? Or even a public bus driver with regular people in the bus. Just something that I've always wondered about.

I just re-signed a lease, that I don't want anymore. I was trying to find someone to take it over completely, but all I can find is someone who can sublease for half of it, and then I would need to find another subleaser in December. But, as soon as I find someone to move in here, I am going to find a new apartment. Is it possible for someone to have two leases at the same time?

Just when I said that I wouldn't be surprised about anything people do these days,...I read about Judge DONALD THOMPSON. He got 4 years in prison for masterbating during court trials with a penis pump. There are at least 15 documentations of his act. They found semen stains under his desk and on his robes. If that don't beat all, I don't know what does. He is going to have a ball in prison @ the age of 59.

Does affirmative action pretaint to mainly just African Americans or does it include all other minorities? Also, sometimes women are considered a minority, so would an employer be able to use affirmative action for a white woman?

I worked for a business for 2 weeks and then decided that the boss was alittle weird. I quit, but I never got a paycheck. I waited 4 weeks, still no paycheck. Then out of the blue he started emailing me harassing letters... I went to the police and filled out a report. The letters didn't make sence. I called and found 2 other designers that he had never paid and owes money to, but the scarier part is that he also screwed over 8 different busniesses! He took amounts from 400-2000 to build people websites and hasn't done them! We all want to do something but I am at a loss of what to do!

I live in AZ in a community ruled by an HOA. The HOA does not allow vehicles to be parked outside of the garage overnite. We own three cars and have a two car gargage. They tell me since I have a two car garage I can only own two cars. They said I should expand the garage (impossible) or sell the car ( which I need). In the meantime, I'm facing fines for non-compliance. Do they have that power?

to post a job posting up in Spanish but in the job posting request that the candidates must be fluent in English? Keep in mind this posting is not in a Latino magazine or newspapers, its out in public for everyone to see. To me, that says that you want to discriminate against Non -spanish speaking people and hire only hispanic people that speak spanish, and thats wrong!

not suppose to exist, or did you have to bring it up with congress the law makers.
Here is really the example i was leading to, this isn't about me by the way, i just kinda heard, and was thinking about this in general.

In some places they say no u-torn for example or no smpoking for example at a train station, and a person didn't even relize the sign, but the sign wasn't suppose to be there for example there is absolutely no reason why the no u-torn sign should be there, are you alowed to bring that up in court or does the court just interpret the law and say no you broke it did the u-torn blah blah, blah, your guilty fine, points sumtimes even like 10 days in jail (which i think is insane, for what smoking 10 days in jail [pursonally not a smoker)
Can you state that the law was unconstituational, or did you have to ask congress to change that law or remove that sign blah blah. because you did brake the law but the law can be wrong such as in the case above. Please clearify answer

I read someone here had written that gay people have "more rights" than straight people. Why?

And while I'm at it, to save time:

How does it "hurt marriage" that gay people marry?

Why does it matter if they're "born" or "raised" gay?

I would like to know if anyone has used a home drug test kit on their small child to detect second hand smoke from marijuana? My child is exposed to it weekly by her paternal grandmother during her father's visitation and no one has been able to help me keep her out of her house because her father has shared legal and physical custody, and lives with his mother. I was told that I need to get proof of my daughters exposure to it through a doctor doing the test and that would be enough to keep her out of there and possibly get full custody back. Do you think this is true? Do those kits really hold up in court? Thanks for the advice.

I think the drinking age should be lowered ((coming from someone who didn't TOUCH alcohol until I was 19, unfortunately that is saying a lot these days)) to eighteen years old, and here is my argument. The US government basically gives every eighteen year old the right to use their judgement in most situations. Of course tobacco has different consequences than the use of alcohol. But they will promote joining the army, which involves giving them the ability to legally kill people if necessary, and trust their judgement on something that huge, but not think they are responsible enough to handle alcohol? I just don't understand I guess...

insurance, if they have an attorney? My son was in a car accident a few months ago. He is seeing a chiropractor who is getting paid from "Med Pay" through the insurance company of the car he was riding in( he was a passenger). However, the other insurance company of the car who hit them has accepted liability and after my son is all done with medical treatments will then make an offer. The problem is, the chiropractor is referring him out to a orthopedist. I consulted with an attorney who told me that doctors will not accept a lein for payment unless there is an attorney representing the injured party. My understanding of a lein is that the treating doctors or parties present this to the at fault insurance company for payment before my son would recieve his settle ment, so that they would be assured payment. Why would I need to have an attorney for them to treat him? Does this make sense?

I'm in the process of writing my will, with a template I got online. It has three witness fields, but that doesn't mean I need to have three witnesses, right? Just want to make sure.

Also, the executor could be anyone, and he/she does not need to have legal knowledge, correct?

He left me with an ungodly amount of debt; even though I had given him my portion of the amount due for bills he used the money for other purposes. Now, after nine months of him not living here, he would like to claim his old belongings. I'm wondering what Florida law would have to say about the abandonment of property on a roommate basis, not a landlord/tenant basis.
